  1. One thing to keep in mind is their are only 4 studs which have nuts to loosen. Their are lots of nuts back their which have nothing to do with removing the taillight. 1 is on the furthest point out where the lens curves 2 are on the upper part of the light and one is at the lower insdie of the taillight here is alittle more detail pry up the trim plate on top of the trunk ,it has no screws just clips remove a plastic grommet from each corner of the 3 carpet panels. just pull back to acess the nuts no need for gloves or cleaning the trunk
  2. 92-93 are the exact same
  3. A good cold air intake on a 1mz-fe like mine makes about 7 horsepower to a total of 15 with the exhaust to the wheels. I now make almost as much as a supercharged camry(which could be tuned better) No one else has made anythign better ,i find anything Injen makes is garbage. No R and D it just fits so they sell it.
  4. Let me know by emailing me and i can make sure he has stock. Give me a location and i can get an estimate on shipping and send it off. once paid with paypal.
  5. Not a problem of using the forum properly, Just you kind of need to be able to look for it yourself since it is not factory which then leads to infinate possiilities which can only be found pysically , meaning you have to look for it.
  6. I can;t remember i just look at tehm and usually remeber the ways . It is only a ground 1 positive and one switch wire I am sure someon on the web shows the exact connections.
  7. First you didn;t waste your $30 by not reusing the supposed new oil. It would have been contaminated with debris from old oil which was being washed away. That is the reason you started to leak oil. It is not a new leak but an old one filled by old oil and caked on with heat. The synthetic broke it down and flushed it off. This caused the seal to open up as the skin on the other side of the gasket loosened.
  8. I wouldn;t drive an M3 in snow either ,it is a semi collector car as well as light and powerful which makes no sense for an M3. A 5 series is good as is a GS but you need to try their traction control yourself in wet weather to decide. Personally neither are made for it. Get a 325ix if you want a bmw and winter. or an ES which is front wheel drive. and still reliable.
  9. the link to adding the mic to an oem nav system is pinned in the audio/video section
  10. A remote starter can be done on almost any car including an RX which is the same as the ES,camry and avalon which have lots of owners with them.
  11. Do not insert the pipe so deep and it will not cuase the bubbles to rise up so quickly. Adjust the depth and angle to find the right ones. It has nothing to do with the car just an over sensative pump system pumping out too much air.
  12. Glad you like the site. If they can't figure out their site i doubt anyone else will have a clue unless you have a pop up blocker which might be causing problems like windows internet explorer service pack 2 which has one automatically. I'll move this to general discussions
  13. Excellent work of pics. A very valuable resource to newer members looking to restore tehir headlights. High speed buffing should be left o experts only.It will make a huge difference but it spins fast enough to burn the paint off the bumpers in seconds.
  14. Are you talking about the numbering on the relay?
  15. You have a few problems if you get that many different codes. I would start by checking the wiring for animals chewing through wires.
  16. make another post GS and i can send you the info.
  17. The glue only works on cars with shallow even dents with very thin metal.Basically a crappy system but cheap. The rods is what a pro uses. For 5000 and trainging it is expensive to make a buisness out of it. But it is great stuff for a company.
  18. Once you get A good set of snows the GS is very well behaved in deep snow with its traction control
  19. clean it you have nothign to lose. It normally is the intake pipe not the maf causing a problem. Inspect it for rips.
  20. the clunk is probably a motor mount if you get the kyb's then you will lose the adaptive suspension as i have not seen them make it with a hole in the top to adjust by air.
  21. I felt the same way before Jill. Fortunatly i never have been a victim that way ,but i prefer paypal since it is 129k nit encription and the LOC doesn not get any of your info just your payment. So everything stay confidential as both parties have no info. It is the only way i pay anything to anyone i don;t have abuisness relationship with. But i am sure Matt ,Steveor a local NorthAmerican Managment liek me or SWo3es would accept a mail order and paypal it for you in your name to help.
  22. look in the workshop tutorials or do a search to find it. Your problem is not going to be helped by any manual you need to be able to trouble shoot wiring.
  23. yeah screw them ....... they only engineered the car . Their are too many threads asking this all the time. Please continue this converstation where it belongs in the general maintance section as the intial question of what it uses being vehicle specif was answered.
  24. btw i would disagree with the modding part as the a6 is availbe with a turbo and has much more of a backing from similar vw products with 100 times the aftermarket production.
