  1. read the FAQ it does mean Frequently asked questions
  2. trya search next time or just look at the FAQ as it is in their also just take the one you have out and lube it outside the car and then replace it. A sprocket may have broken in the ant gear or the ant
  3. why did they not fit? was the struts the right bolt patterns or the shock did not have a case to hold a spring?
  4. a power flush is good and worth the 60.00 not 300

  7. I replaced my right side outer boots last year as it ripped and glazed my chrome rims like glue from grease. It was 60 for a oem lexus boot kit ( much better than any aftermarket ones i looked at. I didn;t need to replace my axles as it was a ercent rip and had not be subject to weather washing out the grease in the bearings. Also i did not have it clicking on me. A reman shaft here is about $250 ( i know have a friend with a cv rebuild shop ,so i could be much cheaper) it takes time to get it all apart since it includesremoving and replacing wheels balljoints tierods sway bar axle hub bolt as well as repacking is a learned stlye.Learn on someone elses car first total of 4 hours taking my time i think
  8. try a search it is a problem explained before you need a new handle as the metal is broken and cannot be welded as it is an alloy

  11. on the opening page under lexus maintance it is there or scroll down to near the bottom of the bar below to the right that says lexus es250/es300/es330
  12. B back ? never heard of that? I only chaneg the piping from the resonator back as it was inferior to the front section which was also oem .
  13. Let me guess you had a problem with the engine bogging or not having power all the time especially when you hit the gas hard? All because a of a bad tach signal wire either on the coil packs or injector box. It is a common problem with bad or inexperianced installers. Get a good shop ( look outside of them for more than 5 $40 000 and up cars ,if so tehn they should be able to handle the job.
  14. i guess one would have to assume you own a 2001
  15. Who duct taped the hose the shop who did the repair on the VC? Common problem ????? army, what are you talking about ? If the egr was removed when the intake was it may be a bad gasket that is covering the return pipe this will cause an insufficent flow. Your car defintaly does have an egr . A good throttle body cleaning would help. but if it started right after the work it is more than likely a mechanic caused issue as the egr is in the way and has to be removed from the car or intake to replace the rear VC.
  16. I guess the foam might work problem is all of the hoods rigidity is in the lower brace. ( i know from race cars trying to remove weight and then mig ing in new braces) it is just a floppy peice of sheet metal The braces are designed to crumple very easily and not be repaired. Sometimes they can be (barely) but any little stresses will cause it to collapse again and more. So the long and short is buy a new hood from a local wrecker. Shipping a hood is alot of money( i know from carbon fibre hood, which supposedly wieght nothing) It might not be that much for one i know i get them here for about 300 used with lots of colours already so no need to paint.
  17. lol it doen't make the throttle less abrupt the car is in second gear so of course it will respond slower.
  18. Info on changeing the MAF ? It has 2 screws and is inbettween the arfilter box and the rubber intake pipe
