  1. Actually it is none of the reasons above. The Lexus 1mz-fe has vvt the camry 1mzfe doen't they share blocks and sintake manifolds but not heads. That is where all 1mz engines differ. Can you make it fit, yes . Will it work properly, i have no clue but i would fathom a guess trd would ahve tried it first but backed off the app as it wouldn;t run right for a production toyota part for a new car.
  2. I agree with a coil possible. If they glow red then they are getting rich. No blockage will cause them to glow unless it is tons of fuel being dumped in them. I would let your friend do an oil change on your car if he came up with an asumption the res is bocked or any part of the exhaust for that matter. Either a fuel injector is shot which causes a really bad idle and white smoke from raw fuel out the back . or the ignition system is not working right which usually won't cause smoke as it is not as much gas.
  3. the fornt end and dash is impressive the back is nasty. I sat in one the other day and found the fit and finish awful for a showroom car.
  4. In my faq it also says that turnign the dimmer down will keep them from flickering as it is a voltage and heat problem causing intermittent to eventual blown spots.
  5. Ebay has a protection poilcy on all cars sold ,deal with that. Also take it to lexus for their expensive but thorough inspection by a technition for any other faults which might have been missed by sears mechanics
  6. Their is a complete list of codes in the general maintance section for the hvac codes. But 21 is the solar sensor which will always go off if you test it without direct bright light. Nothing to worry about.
  7. To test a noisy bearing just turn a bit left and a bit right and keep doing it at higher speeds to listen for a change in the noise increase/decrease.
  8. ahhh lol I only took latin / greek in medial traning. Like i remember that well. But i would hope in medicine they wouldn;t say buyer beware. lmao
  9. I don;t think they have Sears in Japan stevie
  10. should have read the FAQ to be very informed
  11. When will toyota ever learn and bring it to our shores dresed to kill. Like an M5 or atleast a wanna be to be able to be tweaked then kick its !Removed!. As usual another let down for no 4 wheel dirve and steering with twin turbos.
  12. For $20 why not get the deep cycle rather than the red ? It might be cheaper to get an OEM lexus/toyota battery. As the optimas in Japan are shipped from North America and as such have a premium price.
  13. I haev a couple shots in my gallery pics clink the link in my sig for them. They are at a weird angle as i initially took them to show someone my intake system behind the battery so i had moved wires around.
  14. Told you their was an expert on filtration. And the same conclusion ,if you have toime to waste looking after it to keep it at peek filtration ,then use it, otherwise the OEM is easiest.
  15. Unless it is a Special tag for your car
  16. The word mounted tells mountains of info. With LED or not?
  17. They would look mint with SWO3ES embossed on them.
  18. It should come up under the armrest. To acess lift the carpet up in the armrest undo the 2 bolts to look under it.
  19. I have clear wires also ,they look nice as the green doesn't match properly to my paint. I have blue ones on my blue car which also was a definate improvment also.
  20. Army you should read all the other threads this has been asked and answered before. Any owner who has them says their is a minimal incerase in gas milage and no performance gains. Also their is one with a filtration expert on the boards with some very good veiws. Look after it and your fine, don;t want the head ache then just buy oem ones. Ford has been making cars for years does that mean it is a great product?
  21. They fit they are also in the 50mm range their is a guy on ebay with the same rims on ebay selling his car in canada http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...me=STRK:MEWA:IT
  22. Definatly a good explaintation in your post with all pertinant info But i am not sure what a whooping noise is ? Does it make the rpms change with the noise?
  23. Read the info in the workshop tutorial i spent a few hours making that post their
  24. I said it was a maintance issue if you read the page again. As before keep your stupid comments to yourself. The only people claim performance gains is the ones who sell it on ebay. You don;t have one ,never made one or driven in a vehicle before or after ..............so that leaves you with no experiance in the matter ..correct ?
