  1. Go to the Lexus web site and look up the compatible phone list. You may need to hunt around a little to find it.
  2. I believe the crossbars should have come with the rails at delivery, otherwise what good is the rack? I agree why put the rails on if your not going to throw in the cross bars. The Highlander has always come with and without rails, rails always come with cross bars but not on the 2010 RX350--now cross bars are a $259 option. Roof rack CrossBars [28] $259 [29] $259 [29] http://www.lexus.com/models/RX/features/pricing.html The 2010 does not come with the cross bars, as a matter of fact when I bought my 2005 I had the dealer remove them before I drove out of the lot. As far as the stuck mechanism on the cross bar being stuck, being it's under warranty, I'd let the dealer free it up. You sure don't want to break anything.!
  3. I found everything I needed on the Edmunds site.
  4. A Lexus dealer told me they have a 2010 RX coming in that I may have an interest in buying. I was given an inquiry report that lists a bunch of codes such as CP, EK,C1, and etc. Does anyone know of an internet site that I can go to to figure out the codes? They told me what they thought would be on the car, but I'd still like to know what the codes mean. Thanks in advance.
  5. It just cost me $460 for the very same thing on my 1995 Saturn. I'd say being a Lexus it would cost more of course.
  6. Did you check the "lock" button in the glove box ? If you bumped it it would lock the door/hatch from opening with the fob or dash button. Good luck & HNY
  7. Yes, Lexus replaced the complete sliding roof and the connecting cable. My 2005 RX had 7258 miles on it at the time in July of 2005. I thought the rattle was around the rear hatch but they found it was in the moon roof. :D
  8. I just returned from a 5,000 mile road trip with about 20,000 on the odometer. The first time I pulled my car out of my garage after returning, I noticed a small oil spot on the garage floor. I thought it was an oil leak. On taking my 05 RX AWD to Lexus, they found a bad seal that was leaking fluid at the front of the drive shaft from the transfer case extension. The tech at my Lexus dealer advised me there is a TSB on it involving the 2004 and 2005 RX330 AWD vehicles made in North America. It's TSB TC001-06. Of course it was fixed under the warranty. The car ran fantastic on the road trip! F.Y.I. :)
  9. I just heard about the TC005-03R ECM calibration. I'm going on a 6000 mile trip in a couple weeks. I have an appointment at my Lexus dealer for a tire rotation/balance and oil change in a couple days. They are also willing to do the new (for me anyway) ECM calibration. I'm wondering if I should let them do it or not. I've put 15000 on my car and have learned to live with the transmission the way it is now. I can't help but wonder if there are a multitude of reasons I should go ahead and let them do the calibration? Has anyone had this done and been unhappy with the outcome? I do know that the "transmission memory" gets reset to a learning mode initially. My car is a 05 AWD RX330. Thanks in advance.
  10. A couple things to keep in mind. On these forums, for the most part, you only read from those that had/have a problem, and maybe not the majority that have not had problems. Also, if I was in the market for a used Lexus, I'd try to buy one that still has at least a year left on it's 4 year warranty, or with a good certified warranty. I do think that any Toyota product is a good product compared to other manufactures. :whistles:
  11. Is the TSB only for the 2004 RX do you know? The reason I asked is that my rear window wiper on my 2005 RX seems to have been doing a bad job since shortly after I bought it new. Thanks
  12. I'm going to be going on a 3 week road trip with my RX. I was thinking of taking a CB radio along. I have some concerns that when transmitting, the RF from the radio might screw up the car computer. Does anyone know if this is a problem or not, or used a CB in their RX ? Thanks, Carl
  13. I pulled the filter out, but not out of the plastic case. I'll do that now and hope the number is on the filter itself. I think you also have the correct number as 87139-YZZ03 . I appreciate your help in saving me about twenty bucks! Thanks, Carl I pulled the filter out of it's plastic housing and found no part number on it. So I'm back to square one. I'm confused because some part suppliers give the 2005 RX cabin A/C filter as ending in 05 and others say it's 03. To further add to my confusion irontoad shows two filters with different SKU numbers. One is R2060-146262 which is listed as a Denso Particulate filter, and a R2060-138460 Denso filter listed as a "filter activated charcoal" filter. The charcoal filter costs about 10.00 more than the regular filter. I just want to replace the original with the OEM original filter. I can't believe the confusion on what I thought would be a simple purchase ! Carl

  15. Can anyone confirm the correct interior cabin air conditioner filter for my 2005 AWD Lexus RX330 is: 87139-YZZ05 ? Thanks in advance, Carl
