  1. NOOOOOOOOO, NGK spark plugs are good. but their wires are pure crap stick to OEM or a real performance company for aftermarket ones.
  2. I used to use wd 40 for a minute then after a few weeks my engine bay is coated with a thick clump of dust all over it. Their are engien dressings that make a hard clear top coat but it is not paint, more of an acrylic for $5 looks btter and is cleaner.
  3. After all that take your back seats out and realign the back rests as the right side is out of its tracks
  4. The one with blown bags iis not worth it it has structural damage ,500-1000 needs a fender 250 door not just skins,700 glass 300 headlight 600 airbags 1000-2000 misc 1000-1500 paint and labour 1500 around 6000 for repairs for a 4000 car after a slavage repair.
  5. Hmm , got an example of one steve?
  6. cleaned not replace. the motorvac does it all
  7. My fluid looks good but the tranny shifts awfully especially 1-2 and sometimes 3rd. I got an inline tranny filter and it has solved most of my problemsfrom debris build up getting caught in the valve body to be removed and caught in the filter itself instead
  8. MOst if not all cities have a department to deal with road repair issues and damage. I know toronto and Ontario have 2 seperate ones for highway in side toronto the other for all outside toronto and the city deals with all local road problems ,they usually pay them when it is a good reason with documentation.
  9. they both are behind the bumper one is by the grille the other should be behind one of the bumper openings off to the sides
  10. just for a thought ,i changed my timing belt as 120 000 km and did it again at 150 000 km as the water pump started leaking after.
  11. Your hard shifting may be a bad tranny ,did you get a flush?
  12. Their are too many plug and play 5 minute intstall kits with no wiring or modifications. I have them on my stock projectors.
  13. My rotors are plated and i don;t drive like a granny. But my rotors are reflective enough to see my reflection from my driving style of just enough pressure when needed, so i almost never get warped rotors from overheating/cooling. G2 is a great caliper paint. I would NOT use it on the hub surface as it will not let the wheel seat properly, i did it so i know. A thin layer of black spray thermal paint works great on a nwe rotor
  14. Your throttle intkae and surroundings are filled with carbon, find a motorvac for your car for $100 it will solve the engien problems.
  15. most dealers prices vary wether from a lexus or toyota parts department they usually have the same part numbers unlkie gm which makes the same part with tons of different #'s and prices according to the car
  16. agreed ,tires are a big noise maker. Sun that sure is alot of time and effort to make a minimal difference since it has a good amount of foam already. Hell just remove the rear seats they are a major noise baffle.
  17. I think it is worth it. It needs a door skin 200 mirror 150 fender 250 corner light 60 labour 1000 paint 600 misc parts 200 total about 2500 plus tax depends on what they go for in you area.
  18. Agreed ,need moer info. But if it turns over and trys to start i would say the iacv is clogged like most and needs to be cleaned. Usually just pressing on the accelorator a bit and running the engine for a few more seconds after startign will correct it for that trip. Other wise once the engine has cooled it usually moves the iacv back into position.
  19. Not sure if it does but i doubt it.
  20. Actually glazing is when brake pad material gets impregnated into the metal and creates a surface that is very bumpy and causes unequal braking and efficency of the pads to the rotors. If you crack a rotor it is a very chaep or drilled rotor unless you race to get that kind of heat . Glazing needs to be removed it doesn;t mean the rotors is dead either.
  21. LMAO that why i have an LOC sticker over my free dealer one with a clear plastic center.
  22. lol you never looked around, did you.
  23. lol thanks i was looking for a reply not a sentiment. But much appreciated and happy birthday to you also DC BTW the easiest way to describe the tokico's is like constipation. It starts to take in the bumps and then stiffens up real hard out of the blue. Plain awful for a daily driver.
  24. 235 is widest but I would not go with that size with the ES stock wheel. 215 is a great plus size. I have it now 215/60/16. ← what makes it a great plus size? and what makes the 215 a great size over any other ?
  25. 235 is the widest if you get the right rim offset and width
