Go buy a chain strap wrench from Snap-On. Wrap a rag around the crank pulley. Lock the pulley with the chain wrench. Break loose the crank and cam pulleys. Take off the t/belt and replace seals etc,. Forget the electric impact. Chain wrench is about $100 and works on many things.
Sure services are pricey at times. However you spend $$ @ the dealer and they will take care of small problems when you're out of warranty. Do medical doctors cut you a deal when you're sick?
I've got a little over 332,000 miles on my 1990 LS400. Changed the coolant once a year since new. 3 water pumps, just because I didn't want to get stuck somewhere. Original cooling system otherwise. No problems.
Sounds like the roof needs to relearn the sunroof glass travel. Hold the slide close button and keep it pressed until the roof goes through it's fully movement cycle. Sometimes when the battery is disconnected this can happen.
Lube the rubber boot that the steering column goes through on the floor. The small area the shaft exits the vehicle has some lube on it and wears off over time.
Run the engine and get the manifold hot. Spray rust penetrant at the O2 and work it back and forth. Keep spraying and tighten and loosen the O2 until it works out. If you remove the aircleaner intake tube, it's easy to reach from the top of the car.

Just replaced a t/belt on my friends 1998 gs400 with 121,321 miles. Belt was in real bad shape. Cracked everywhere. The belt was beginning to split where the cogged and smooth layers are joined.
Nice pics. Drain the block and radiator. You have pics of the correct drains. Near the firewall there's a metal pipe that attaches to the heater hoses. There is a bleeder tube with a rubber cap and clamp that points up. Remove the cap and fill the radiator until water/coolant comes out the heater hose vent cap. This will purge some air from the block. If you have a way to fill using that vent, fill it from there also. replace the cap and run the motor with the heater on. Most the air will bleed out the radiator after 10 minutes.
