  1. South coast toyota in Los Angeles area has a case for $ 3.99 a quart. Toyata of orange matched the price for me on last saturday.
  2. It seems I cannot attach the picture. But my question is - The nut that supposed to be loosened - is it covered by the black rubber cap. Thanks. Micky
  3. Hi everone, Is the brake bleeding nut only visible when you remove the black rubber cover (top left corner in the picture attached) or is it the big nut seen in the center. To be specific I am talking about the nut that has to be loosened after pumping the brakes few times. Thanks Micky
  4. Hi Everybody, I have 2002 LS430 which is 4years old and has 30K miles. Would like to replace the coolant. I have read other posts on the topic but still have some questions. 1. Is it necessary to drain the engine block ? 1a. If yes, then do we need to drain coolant from the drain plugs as shown in the pictures. Right side drain, left side and the radiator drain. Are pictures showing the correct valves to open. 1b. If yes then how do we fill the engine block again. Other posts state that fill the radiator and the radiator reservoir and then start the engine. Monitor and add coolant as needed. Is this correct procedure ? 1c. Lexus manual states that "Start the engine and open the heater water valve". How does one do that ? 2. How does one maintain the proper torque ? I never seen any mechanic trying to maintain torque. Is it essential to maintain torque. 3. Do we need to flush the cooling system ? Thanks for your help. Micky
