i used synthetic tranny fluid in my pump when i changed it drained it out and ran the car for a few second while turning the wheel to get it all out it still is pretty red after 4 years but it may also be used to run your cooling fan also meaning there is alot of fluid to flush spinning around in the hoses but once any old fluid is there it will turn black again my steering feel also got much better at turning slow to park and alot less when on the highway for pump boost as mine in my es 300 is variable force for feedback when needed

sometimes under moderate accel the stumbling is caused by a gap or tear int eh intake piping check it for cracks and see it might be an easy fix

i have never had a problem with my jack when i did use it i guess it needs a real flat surface and to be in the perfect position as well to seat right or it will fall off

225 should be fine for width but i am not sure on the offset working right even thought it is only 16x7 look at tire rack and put in the specs to see what fits

sounds like a sloenoid problem try tapping the starter with a wrech when it happens it it kicks right over after then it is the sloenoid contacts

is this problem from all sources as in the cd tape and radio it might be the volume control does it crackle when turned at all?

so was the problem the alternator? or just a random thought?

i just replaced my rear shocks there are lots to choose from and a bit of a pain in labour to remove the back seat to get them out but i changed my whole suspension for 150 canadian front and back new springs and shocks with aftermarket sport ones get monroe sensatrac if you would like a more cost effective way but most chops should be able to do it all for about 300 total

it all depends on the new mirros attachments if it comes with a new neck and mount or not the old mirror should come off by poping of the litle plastic shround where it attaces to the glass and then removed with a screw

exactly just leave the stock speakers with the stock amp unless you change the speakers the amp will do nothing for you

any bulb that has a blue tint on the bulb surface is junk it only is reducing the light output which is useless silverstars by slyvania are very good and have a slight tint to the bulbs but not blueish

no chip i know of also not a real diy but a super afc needs a dyno but can make a few more ponies

actually the procedure is made to resync your key with the alarm brain not add a new one as from the manual " open the drivers side door, others closed using the door lock control switch perform " lock , unlock " operation 10 times within 30 seconds keep each state for about 1 second less than 2 seconds after performing the above continue to press the transmitter switch for 10 seconds does nothing if it locks 2 time the codes do not match the rom and ecu 3 times transmitter fault

get a motor vac engine fuel flush change your spark plugs and hope the belt has not skipped causing the timing to be out

first question or problem is whta phone do you have so you would be able to get a kit check with the manufacturer of your phone for a kit already made like nokia has

97-99 have amber and red centers the 00-01 have a jeweled red and clear center they drop right in to replacejust need all 4 pieces as it is 2 inner and 2 outer

It must be some thing else. Lexus has never and will never sell a factory radar detector. Due to legal reasons. You should find out from the dealer that you got your RX from and find out what type of thing it is.. why "must it be something else" if the dealer said they did it then they did it right? dealers work with a profit margin if it has a good enough one why would they not sell one? in a state that allows it
