the vht ( very high temp) is crap use it and you will be redoing it sooner or later even on brand new and clean rotors and calpiers used it once and it flaked off slowly also a real pain to remove the left over in creases i love the folia tech stuff also rebagded by tire rack it is a 3 component kit 1 can of brake clean spray and a resin and epoxy to mix which becomes hard liek rock it also has a slight mettalic to it and dries with a clear coat of sorts it is ttruley amazing looking and lasts

sounds liek you may have dislodged part of the screen when removing itform the bady of the hvac controller you mayneed to open the assembly and tighten the insides i have a similar problem from when i reoplaced my bulbs the clok works fine but unless i press the right side of the screenit is blank but the hvac still works

best and easiest solution is take it to a dealer to get a good once over the coolant level has its own light so it usually doesn't turn the cel on unless that is causeing another problem good luck and welcome and ask away on the question as you know that what this kind of online community is for

hey aus the oil will not help you save gas that i mentioned it only helps reduce waer on the engine sorry for the mix up i get an 100km once the fuel low light comes on this might sound stupid but try replacing wires from the battery with newer bigger gauge i did that last night since i was putting a new battery in i also changed to new termnials while i was doing all this i found a few of the wires from the battery to be in slightly bad condition especially the + one for the starter and the body ground located under the battery tray it may cost about $30 for the wire and conetors i have to say the car has pepped up it starts alot faster and with a much more up beat sound than before the lights on the dash have whitined againand my battery gauge is now always at peak so it was a much improved thing to do also i noticed the car much happier to rev harder time to go back to the dyno oh yah i have also changed the batteyr before and had it trickle and rapid charge many times and never had this much of a response i also have an optima spiral battery now which does have reduced resistance so i guess itis up in the air but i did find the bad wires starter and ground are about 1 1/2 feet so it is very short and easy to change

the rain x and stuff may work but why not try waxing the rear glass also or washing it with dishwashing soap just on the glass to remove any waxy buildup kind of either or alittle wax may help and none can also

actually just learned it in highschool for the shop teacher in the early 90's the so called disinfectents are around $10 the lysol$5 it is up to you i tried lysol once and it did ok the only thing i didn't do i multiple repeat over a few days hey you learn something new everyday by the way i don't read the paper now a days it is hard enough to keep up with all the traffic on this site it is almost 5 new pages a day to go through but on saturday there is a half decent car section in one Toronto paper

well if all the fuses i think it is 3 of them distributed bettween the 3 fuse boxes then the head unit is dead get a new one

i would say the problem is not the code for the dead deck it is just dead it would atleast turn on if it needed a code sounds like you can either open up the old one and use a hopefully good part or try looking for another one to replace your 2 defective ones

i am not sure if the cars ever had one installed i think it was a dealer option as i have a supplementary book of all dealer available options that came with my car new looks just like the owners manual but lists parts like the ac filter i think i will have to look for mine one day asi keep forgetting the smell if probably from mildew in the system buy a can of deodorizer or lysol the cowl on the passenger side at the base of the window with the heater temp and fan on max to burn it out

you guys have the worng wire for the remote it is turning on and off with the car not the deck the ant actually does have one but i think it is low poered for amperage i can't remeber but i thin mine is there

white smoke is coolant black is rich and blue is oil find out what kind but if it is consistant then it is already on tyhe awy out the door 5 is not a bad price but it will cost atleast 2500-3000 to repair or replace the engine rebuilding it would be better like i said you already know it has a bad problem just up to you how much you can spend to fix it

is there enough power for the lights are they dim? the gap in the hose usually leads to surging more than dieing how high in rpms do you have to keep it does it start normally i wouldn't say fuel delivery becase it is still givining enough fuel to run the car to higher rpms if you have no check engine light then maybe check to see if you have a clogged air firlter when is the last time you changed it also check the oil it might be gone and the pressure sensor might be stuck

if you belive the alternator to be good how about the battery even though it is not used to run the car it can still drain an alt if it is defective also try replacing soem of the wiring to the car form the battery i did that last night asi am always having a low volt with my alternator put a new batt and changed the starter + wire and body ground plus terminals other than that you alt maybe bad again

you say perssing the button doesn't work but did you remove the little nut at the base of the ant to remove it that keeps it in place?

the sheild has little black retaniers press the small circle in the front of it and then pull up on its base pop them all up to remove the sheild i am not sure if ou need to to get to it though
