what ever tire you have on the front get them in the back unless your are ready to get 4 new tires changing brands will change ride characteristics and could cause a loss of control due to the loss or gain in grip from the new and old tires just a thought

yes it should be fine just remove as much as possible of the small parts from around the light housing you can buy ureathane and reseal it or use silicone as it works one thing to also do is if you really don't want to open it just put a nice good bead of silicone and seal the edges again unless the insides are now dirty also leave the little window above the green leveler off to help circulate more air in the housing to evaporate any water first

true about fitting the only worry usually is rubbing on the hood lining though easily adjusted to make it a bit higher i have a bar from 97 when they made tehm with a wider middle rather than a round bar i kind of prefer my type but i am partial to it lol

it is possible but i feel more of a difference in cornering from a stiffer spring than a stiffer dampener i just put my kyb's in today with new springs and they are great much smoother than the eibachs with stock struts but i did like the ride initally but i love it more now

good answer i would asy the fuel pump pull up the back seat and see if you can hear it when you turn the key before starting? also look for the little scrader valve on the fuel rail looks like the tire air valve and pres it in to see if fuel squirts up or dribbles it should shoot out not dribble mening low fuel pressure

sounds liek crap it has 4 wires ground , power and remote and just one other wire? also how does it work on an is and es they are different engiens and if it does then why not the camry v6 rx 300 gs 300 and the supra as they all share the same 2 engines i have never heard of this idiot and i am in toronto plus am in the performance market and know most of the vendors and retailers as they say buyer beware but you could always dyno it and see if it is any good as it is a minimal loss of cash

the lotion is fine no problems it is just less potent as it has to come out of a dispenser

i am not trying to sound negative but a heat gun is only going to get one area hot enough for the ureathane to release then when you move it around to the other areas it will cool the problem is the whole assembly needs to be heated evenly of the outer plastic will crack from pressure as some of the ureathane is letting go and other parts it is rock hard just a thought but anything is possible just be careful

no it is not for service it means it needs service as something is wrong as in one of its sensors has detected something unusual get it checked asap most shops can put a scan tool on it and tell you what the code is i think pep boys does it for free

your sidewalls would account for maybe 10% of the roll eibach make a nice kit calle d the pro kit about 400 installed for the states i am guessing you can keep the orignal shocks but it is only a 1 inch drop and a much firmer feel with a smooth ride

did yuou do an engien flush with a add in oil chemical that is suppsed to be flushed out? when i do them i put cheap oil in for a week then reflush with good synthetic one way i check an engine before buying a car is to open the oil cap and rub my finger inside of the opening and see if it is slimy or gritty to see what the inside might be like also the oil cap back gives a few hints also

well iguess first order of buisness is getting the mounts changed or checked again look to see if tehy are split or falling apart with cracks in the rubber inserts

i have found eagle one turtle wax and others who make very cheap products not very good i have not personally tried it though i gave up on any thing from a company that is not dedicated to just car detailing and has a wide brand of products that can be and are used by pro shops if it is not good enough for a pro spending hours a day doing the same job it definatly is not for me

you can try unplugging the fuse for the airbag ecu but it may need a scan tool from lexus to find why it is registering a trouble code i bet your friend undid his dash without disconnecting the battery first

it sounds normal my 94 with the same engine and tranny does that as well as any other lexus i have driven from a cold start it is a feature to get the engine and tranny to operating temp also to get better emmisions faster

oh yah also nackamichi makes there decks with a small wide green screen close to the lexus but they are a bit pricey but then you would need a custom face plate to make it fit but they were the first to make the 6 disk indash deck

buy a lexus deck and changer but you may need a wiring harness if not prewired
