  1. well dex 3 is not as much a big deal as type f but the residue would be impregneated in the clutches after a few heat cycles so unless it wears out soon it is ok but i doubt it will ever be the same even though type 3 fluid is upposed to be able to be used in a type 2 tranny
  2. this guy is an idiot he never did answer any questions i asked him i'll merge this with the other same title one
  3. you should be fine i don't think there is a code for it the ecu is always relearning so don't even worry about that either may even work better after
  4. just like stevie said keep all receipts incase of issues but unless it runs out of oil it should be no problem i never took mine to the dealer except for the timing belt and i got warranty if needed
  5. all depnds which gasket but it is never a good idea to leave thing till it gets worse it always ends up costing more you had a drive shaft replaced 30 k ago how long ago was that and did you get an alignment also what was wrong the last time the boot cracked or just clicking it sounds like the problem is a misaligned wheel and possibly an engine mount which cause the cv to be stressed
  6. look on ebay for a 97-99 trd camry body kit it will fit but the spoiler doesn't it is bolt on and uses tape as well
  7. that seems odd steviej as the cars mentioned would either be obd 1 or 2 meaning any scan tool should be able to pick up the signals and figure it out of which ones but it does take time to learn to watch the variables rambled off on a screen
  8. might be the deck is not responding as well as the changer look on ebay for a replacement if you want to keep the stock look
  9. sorry i know nothing about chevron or techron but have heard it is supposed to be a really good fuel treatment when added
  10. i thought i posted it in the faq take off the ant nut/bezel( has 4 slots ) just hold the fm button and turn the key forward it will pop out when you reinsert the mast then turn the key off and it will retract definatly not 2 hours 15 minutes maybe ask to see there manual for approved times they have to show it to you then when it show it is not 2 hours speak to the owner of the dealership might get more than what you needed for the attempted rip off
  11. it sounds like you have good grounds to sue them or atleast get the money back for the product and repair one also i would contact them what do you have to lose onme reason why i don't like most products that are not in a pro shop next time use the coco butter i think it would be much safer for the leather unless it is for gator skin lol later
  12. glad to help now if i only had enough time to go and fix mine lmao
  13. i have tried it and didn't think it was worth it i do like the clay bar idea though but i just use the prewax cleaner in a 3 step wax and it removes anything on it perfectly also if waxed after it helps to replel water and cause less fricton for the blades making them wear less
  14. i do not know what the retail price is for them in the US check a local performance shop they only make one kind unless you have servicable struts but i don't think it is in the 92 ones they are ( as i am told ) one of the smoother shocks for the mcv10 chasiss compared to tokico and others an alternative might be the monroe sensa trac with new springs might be cheaper
  15. 94 is great with turbo's and chargers the difference is minor but still a difference
  16. odd part of the alarm is it is only a starter kill i don't think there is fuel shut down as well but even if there is it still should not turn over
  17. the rear doors if not opened frequently the pins will seize a bit towards the back of the door and car there is a small rubber boot below the handle on the frame edge of the door sill pull off the rubber boot and apply wd- 40 or preferable white grease or lithium grease it will help reduce the friction and the ligth should now work ok from now on
  18. seen them on a camry and an es 300 they do need spacers for the rear though but look real nice
  19. yah it is a tedious and slow thing to do but easy none the less also heat and pry it alittle then you have to reheat and repeat do this a few times as once is nver enough alos remember to remove all the above racks and dont' let the clear plastic face down as the metal rack might give it grille marks
  20. KYB is a company that makes shocks like tokico and koni and the list goes on
  21. i use shell as i am an idiot for airmiles 9000 and counting yet i have not used one yet in 5 years i always use premium in all my cars it is much better for a dollar or 2 more over all
  22. the option of wet sanding it is ok if you are a pro because you need a high speed buffer to finish the paint after you could always get a different colour or same one as the car pin stripe and cover it ( the vinyl ones)
  23. i also have a 94 es and the lexus factory ones are great my friend with a 94 camry v6 has the same engine and it is helpful ( speaking of which he still hasn't returned it) but for any electrical system it is no good as is the body and interior removal and location for parts
  24. you have a 1mz-fe engine es 300 rx 300 camry v6 sienna and i think something else but all have the same engine if it has higher compression tehn it will need a higher octane rating to combat predetanation and knocking
