i'm sure they are not original. i took out mine at 120k and they were gone! rotors and caps were worn almost to the point as well. denso spark plugs for your car is ik20. i bough em off ebay for like 90$ for 8 of em and they are iridium. dont use that regular denso sparks theat dealer will try to sell you. get top of the line!
100k is ok for the timing belt. i changed mine when i had 125k miles and it still was ok i had to change it coz of the bearing, as to the performance check what i told you. i'm pretty sure its either a rotor/cap or a coil. i'm sure about it.
my car idles at 600 rpm and once i got 540 miles when i was driving on a highway nonstop.:)
in the city its even less then 300 most of the time
for your LS you should check your steering system as it is known to cause problems. i dont know any other common places where it should leak in your car
i tried to put cheap premium gas from golf station once and my engine perfomance lowered drastically while the temp went slightly higher then the regular and rythm of the idliing engine was not as regular as well. how do they sense the fuel btw? as to timing adjustments i dont think its possible electronically since 1uzfe doesnt have an electronic timing. as far as i know tables in ecm were only for premium fule and to keep the emissions in the passing stage for only 100k miles on average. i'm sure it does adjust thats why the knock sensor is there but it does it only up to a certain level.
as far as i know the lower the fuel grage the lower the temp of combustion is thus creating less pressure in the cylinderand generating less heat. this might not be a big problem but requires timing adjustmentefficiency of the engine is going lower while the ECU was preprogrammed for the certain type of fuel and thiming and its pulse width for the injecters is based on the lookup table that was developed for the premium fuel will lead to generating more soot and less power thus putting more load on the engine and your catalytic converters which will lead to the shortening engine and catalytic converters life and might lead to the cat overheating.
yeah this is misfire and its only on 1 side! check your rotor/cap and coil on the side where cylindes 2.4.6.8 are. timing belts dont die like this. if you would need to replace it you would hear whining from the bearings in timing belt pulleys or water pump at around 800 rpms. also when you gonna remove timing belt covers to get to rotors and caps you will be able to check condition and tension of the timing belt
ive seen those DIY taillights.....
none of em looked good.... you still can try but there is a chanse that you will just brake em. as i remember the process includes heating em up and separating. but b4 this you have to dissasemble the transparent part from the taillight piece. lots of work
wellwhen the ignition is on some of them soud b onsince system ischecking itself. then nly oil check engine and batery should stay and when he engine is on none of them should be on.that is why they are called diaggnostic or warning lights.
they are ondifferent sides thus they are powered by different coils androtors/caps.
it might beeither wek/nospark cause of bad wire/sparks or bad timing. i think its the second but its worth eliminating first one to mae sure
yeah it is possible to put the original one back in. usually installers leave the original harness intakt so you just get the radio and swap it right in. as to the cd changer install contact member mig25. he installed original cd changer into his LS
sounds like bad timing... check your timing belt tension and while you are at it chek the timing marks on the camshaft, engine body and belt itself. they should all align
you might just need a tuneup. i'm pretty sure it will solve the problem. a guy in the office with 94 had this problem and his engine was running really ruff. tuneup solved both problems. he has 234k miles
