  1. damn!!! 2k smth miles!!!! i' thought i had lotsa milez:) nice car in nice shape:) concrats:)
  2. you need H4 type bulbs for the headlights. make sure you got the right one, the youhave to remove the whole headlight assembly to change the light. very unconvenient of lexus but i guess they made it like this so you will go to the dealer even for the bulb replacement:)
  3. yeah i think its too big for ES. even on Ls without bodykit it will not look that great
  4. turn the round bulb assembly and it wil come oout and then you just pull the bulb push the new one put it back into the taillight and rotate in the opposite direction whole procedure is 5 mins including those 2 screws you have to remove to get the corener taillight out
  5. 95 version has only one fan but the sensor is still in the same position
  6. its in the middle of the rear differential you cannot access it if the car is not lifted, go to any mechanic and they will change it for 20$. you have to lift the car to access it and when the car is lifted whole rear setup will get lower so you will have some space to access it. otherwise you will not have enuff space to put your hand inthere and a lot of fuel will spill in your face when you will start removing it. when you are lying under the car you have nowhere to hide your face while if you standing under the lifted car you can make a step aside to avoid the fuel drop.
  7. it is located under the car between then the bottom of the car and center of rear differential, youhave to lift the car in order to get to it. you better paying mechanic 20$ to change it then doing it yourself.
  8. the one inside yeah, its a tthermal clutch fun and its always on while the electrical one outside that tis located on the AC condencer should not be on all the time
  9. its def not the 95 issue, def check the sunroof if its not that then check all the door seals.
  10. check all the sensors, you might connect it incorrectly or didnt connect it at all. but in 95 model that fan should be always on.double check all the sensors and you might check for error codes as well.
  11. noise might be the symptom of low fluid level or air in the system. first check the level and then check for bubbles when some1 is turning the wheel with engine on. if you doi have bubbles just leave the cap open for the night and they will be gone.
  12. you do need to take it off, otherwilse you will not be able to take out the crankshaft pulley. removing radiator is the easiest part, just make sure the engine is cold:)
  13. nope, access to it only when the car is liften. with your backseat removed you can only access fuel pump. fuel fulter is external and located OUTSIDE the car. it is atteched to the bottom of the car with 2 nuts.
  14. the reason for the ban of HIDs is that they require a special lens and bulb cover othewise they dont give you proper visibility and blind other drivers. i dont think you have to use relays for 130/110 W bulbs, ive been using them for a while and my harness is still intact and not melted. this 130/110 W marking is about the brightness of the bulb and not about the actuall wattage, i beleive its still 50/60 W. those manufacturers tend to put this kind of stuff on the label while couple of bulbs i tested still gave me only 50/60
  15. you have to replace it every 30k as the manusl for the 95 ls said, its really hard to replace it. you have to lift the car and then i was soakin in the fuel for 15 b4 i was able to get it out and put the new one back on. it is located between the body and rear differential.
  16. should not be any noises in any weather, you have to tighten all the enterior plastic parts in order for those noises to be gone. you can ask you mechanic to do it or do it yourself. you dont have to go to the dealer to do this
  17. FYI its illegal to install them as aftermarket parts for street use if you car didnt have it from the factory, you might have trouble with passing inspecion if you have it in your state
  18. i think it was added in 93, open the glove compartment and check if there is a black plastic cover that you can remove, after this cover you will see white cover that is sealed to the filter container. remove second cover as wel and pull the filter. once again only if you have it:) but i'm pretty sure you do
  19. i just helped installed those on my friebds maxima. very good !
  20. this will have to wait a lil bit since the moderator account for the gallery is in the proper condition, we are working on it as i speak so soon they will be gone, i presume you want llast couple of pix to be gone?
  21. you never know....everything is possible. my spark plus were so burned that when i did a tune up even the sound of the engine changed:)
  22. nice job 99ll:) where did you get your manual in pdf?
  23. silvermate, you are correct, they will not, there is a number on the back of the center cap and it is different for 91 and 93
  24. change wires as well, its recommended to change them once in a while. sometimes they are a cause for the weak spark. its only 100$ for the oem toyota part so i think you should do it
