  1. Get a bluettoth earpeice ,they are way bettter than an incar system.
  2. By posting here ,you actually where asking for feedback. Lexus owners usually don;t take anything at face value ,want value for their money and not a moment of value for a lifetime of misery. Pretty much sums up why we all own one. I liek seafoam also it works and is just a methanol/alchol cleaner. It is effected but not perfect as it naturally vapourizes under heat.
  3. Jic is nice especially if you want light weight and a real deep growl with a touch of high end valve noise under engien brakeing
  4. I think whatever is left is left. They have a whole country ,they should be able to spec a car out and ship it easy enough as they have some left.
  5. ebay and anything is always the cheapest
  6. Now that will weight them down by 100++ lbs and cut down the aerodynamics. But i gues those are what you want to know for feedback of them?
  7. Some are parnoid. I never cared and besides i have a custom plate for a reason. Anyone can pull up info easy enough.
  8. This will sound dumb but did you check to see if you have a new private message and the sites pop up is being blocked by some program? Another thought is to delete the cookie you have and log in again , sometime i have had similar problems eleviated by new cookies.
  9. This could go on forever. Like i said it is useless on a new car. If you have never changed them then you have no idea of the benifits they offer after, correct? All wire degrades over time, the more power/heat ran through them decreases their life and transfer power. The wire i used is superior to oem wire in gauge and strand composition.
  10. Then you have to remove the plenum and the rocker cover as well. If you leave it in there the dirt will get in the engine and the grommet will melt possibly jamming a valve open.
  11. Think of changing ground wires as maintance like sparkplug wires. You don;t change them on a new car only older ones.
  12. Good luck, yours our easier to find than mine as i search daily for 1 left outside lamp
  13. It is your crankcase purge line. Is it needed ,no Can you plug it ,no Should you throw that short arm intake as far as you can ,YES. You are about to go down a very bad road by having that thing on your car.
  14. You have to contact a locksmith not a hardware store as Lexus keys are inverted for the tumblers
  15. Get your insurance company to write it off and buy you a new one since it is irrepairable. :) Usually Lexus would have parts coming over with new vehicles if needed. I agree ,a good idea to have the old one fitted until.....
  16. On a newer car they are pretty much useless. They do not add horsepower they help regain lost horsepower from the larger cable degrading over time.
  17. unless you know you have a problem with one then get either a motorvac or add some seafoam
  18. 1 get the ureathane , fiberglass is rigid by nature and can never be more impact resistant than plastic. 2 Make sure you get it painted by a good body shop ,otherwise it WILL chip right off on the front end looking like you traveled 3 000 000 miles behind a transport truck. It needs good primer and almost no matter who you get a kit form they all need a slight bit off finishing ,usually just to flatten out a few spots from a mould by using a sanding plane to level the finish perfectly. After that ,the higher you pay the better and easier it is to install. So if you get a $700 kit expect to spend 800 to paint and 500 to finish and fit it or buy a $2000 kit and spend 500 to paint and install it
  19. Thanks again. ANyone know of an intake for the last model LS400? I ended up building one today and WOW it sounds like a beast now. I can;t wait to see the milage improvments ,if i can stop jamming the gas pedal just to hear it. I never noticed it before but the rears will break loose for a second when the tranny shifts to 2nd gear then the VSC kicks in. I should have dynoed the thing first.
