  1. Paint it flat black. I don't think they have forums as they are mainly fads.
  2. You can swithc to normal struts anytime you want. The system is tedious and 12 years old ,if it still works be glad .Otherwise it will cost and arm and a leg to fix.
  3. Getting parts and installing them for the sake of saying you have them is great but you need to decide what you need and want from the car. In most people opinion who have them they only ned rear bars to give the car a more neutral bias of control rather than understeer which by upgrading both returns it to the same charecteristics especially if the shocks and spring rates are not also changed
  4. I am assuming that you are pro toyota The looks of either car are similar enough to you to be of no concquence. Is gas milage of interest and do you do city driving alot? As the LS is a great highway cruiser and the avalon will be better in the city especially to park. Do you drive in snow? If not then get the LS as it is rear wheel drive and the avalon is front.
  5. What year is your car? 97-2000? try searching IACV until then keep your foot on the gas when you start
  6. They no longer make the kit and anywhere that had them last year blew them out for less than $500. So it is pretty much discontinued.
  7. From the article on the autoweek website http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=102821 Getting Back in the Game: Toyota caught testing sporty Lexus entries AUTOWEEK Posted Date: 7/20/05 After several years of essentially staying on the sidelines of the sports car arena, it is becoming clear through quick glimpes at test tracks that Toyota is about to re-enter the raging horsepower wars in a big way. Our spies caught Toyota testing a high-performance coupe at the Nürburgring with proportions aimed at cars like the BMW 6 Series. This test mule sports a Japan-market Toyota Crown Royal body that already uses a V8 engine and crucially, can be fitted with rear- or all-wheel drive. While bodied as a sedan, notice several inches were cut out of the rear doors and roof. Other hints are the quad exhaust pipes, lowered suspension, large disc brakes and low profile tires. With the Lexus brand’s recent introduction into the Japanese market and growing performance ambitions as telegraphed by its LF-A sports car concept (AW, Jan. 17), this future coupe will likely carry the Lexus badge. As for the LF-A, a test vehicle was also spotted flying around the Nürburgring about the same time. Below are the latest spy shots of the car we’ve been watching since the concept debuted at the 2005 Detroit show. Speculation is still rampant about what will power the LF-A. It might be a 500-hp range V10 of less than 5.0 liters of displacement. Or a V8 might be used if F1 rule changes, set for 2006, reflect that. The target weight of the car is said to be less than 3000 pounds, with a top speed upward of 190 mph. Look for a production LF-A to possibly debut later this year at the Tokyo Motor Show in October.
  8. I am not sure but whiteline may carry some stuff for the camry/ES300 in bars and bushings, they are out of australia though. The only way to make it handle any better is with new suspension, other stuff is only marginal.
  9. Here you go for some good advice , it was reveiwed in 2003 though http://cnet.search.com/search?chkpt=astg.c...g+i700&tag=srch With the new Samsung i700, Verizon Wireless finally offers a Pocket PC-based smart phone worthy of the company's high-speed 1xRTT voice and data network. Its size, shape, and high-end features make it something of a thoroughbred, especially compared to other Pocket PCs. All of that comes at price, however: $599.99, and only with a two-year contract. Upside: To its credit, the i700 fills the middle ground between earlier Pocket PC phones and the current crop of devices. Thanks to its bevels, rounded corners, and silver color, this 6.9-ounce smart phone exudes some style. It has a sizable 240x320-pixel, 65,000-color, VGA-quality touch screen and an SD memory expansion slot, as well as a 300MHz Intel XScale processor, 64MB of RAM, and a built-in camera. It can also take advantage of Verizon's wireless Web and e-mail services using the company's Express network. Downside: Unlike the Treo or G1000, the i700 lacks a minikeyboard and depends solely on a stylus and soft keys for input. With no cover or clamshell to protect the display, it begs to be handled with care. While the phone works on CDMA 800/1900 networks, there's no analog roaming. Outlook: Despite its flaws, the i700 has the features and specs to become a pacesetter, especially when you consider Verizon's fairly limited smart phone selection. That said, it won't find a market among everyday cell phone users, for whom it will be too data-oriented, too delicate, and too expensive.
  10. It isn;t that strange the same thing is posted on CL by the admin ,so i am sure they critiqued it before posting it.
  11. I still like the other car better but it will be a great meet .
  12. Nice car and it is going to be a great meet ,hopefulyl i will get there.
  13. It was meant for someone else not you ke4,we have a little kid playing games tonight and he is getting a good spanking
  14. Don't worry about him,he is reading posts while he gets his IP blacklisted for harassment . I am sure his school won't be very happy about being listed as a spam network and being barred from internet acess. Funny ,in Texas you can have a loaded gun in your car can't you? Why would anyone contemplate roadrage with such an idea even remotly present.
  15. I guesss you got all the new GS owners already? Good luck
  16. I would try 1-800-26-lexus, headoffice should give you a good idea and possible some compensation.
  17. They can be repaired by some guy who revalves them in Vancover BC. They are made by KYB and the hood is real heavy so they are needed. I replaced mine with mightylift for my ES for $25 each ,i hope to get a set for my LS as well as my right side is leaking.
  18. He did ,it is a banned kid who owns an imaginary dealership called Lexus of Ramarat in Texas and he is trying to improvise by making as much noise as a child with a tantrum can . As all good parents should do ,please ignore him as he is sent packing.
  19. The post you are talking about which was removed ,was from some kid who manages his own imaginary lexus dealership Lexus of Ramrat in Texas. He is upset his game is over and has been banned.
  20. basically they work very easily black to negative and red to positive . Depends on how you want to hook them up ,to the signals or the headlight paerking lights for a constant. They do look bad though
  21. I'll make it simple for you then. You cannot bypass the "accept" it is a part of the legal disclaimer lexus has built into the program to remove them from liability. The only way to change it is to reprogram the scripts in the computer for it ,which is pretty much impossible.
  22. It is on the windsheild but i guess you don't have the car to know. 1-800-25-lexus
