  1. its a 1993 lexus ls400 . i finally filled the tank up for the first time @ $2.75 a gallon . when i turned the car on , the needle only went up a little over half . so the problem isnt the needle right ? would it be the level thing in the gas tank ?
  2. every morning when i start the car and start driving , the suspension makes alot of noise . but it only last for about 30 minutes . the car has air bag suspension . anyone know what might be causeing this noise ? thanks
  3. okay . i finally made a decision to replace my air suspension setup with Strutmasters strut/spring combo with the 1.5" drop for $950 . but while the suspension is off the car , what else should i be looking to change ? Daizan control arm bushings ? strut bar bushing ?
  4. my next step is to change cap , rotor , spark plugs and spark plug wires . any more suggestion ? please help .. im beggin !
  5. in the manul on page 26 for a 1993 lexus ls400 , it says that the fuel gauge is a non-return type needle which remains at the last indicated position when the ignition switch is turned off . but everytime i my ignition switch is turned off , the needle goes all the way down . could anyone help me out with this situation ? thanks
  6. anyone else might have a solution ? please help me . filling up $10-$20 everyday sucks !
  7. okay , im sorry for asking this question again .. but everytime i ask people tell me to replace with new air struts or with "strutmaster " which keeps stock height . the thing i want to do is remove the airbag suspension and install an aftermarket lowering suspension setup . both springs and struts . like tein coilovers . or eibach with kyb . has anyone have experiences with this ? thanks
  8. can anyone help me ? or what could i do ? would having 20" rims contribute to this 10 mpg problem ? its driving me nuts . i dont want to trade the car
  9. i dont think its the catalytic convertor cause i passed inspection . but i do know that one of the calipers is like stuck . my friend was trying to pry it out so that it could move back and forth when applying the brakes but all it does is stay like in a locked position . but not on the rotor . like away from the rotor . could that be it ?
  10. i had it for about 2 monthes already . at first i was hoping that it was the oxygen sensor since it was throwing a code . replaced it . nothing . then did the air filter which was reallly reallly dirty . words cant describe how bad it was . and i swore that i got 20 mpg . but i might have calculated wrong . but i just calculated again and i think its still doing 10 mpg.
  11. i have a 1993 lexus ls400 and it has about 155,000 miles on it . i changed both front o2 sensors and air filter . and i only get 10 miles per galllon . is there anything else i could do to try to improve my gas mileage . if it stays like this i might as well get a SUV . i am planning on changing the fuel filter and pcv valve . would that help ?
  12. i have a 1993 lexus ls400 with air bag suspension . and everytime and whenever the suspension moves from hitting a bump or anything , it makes like a rubber noise . is this the airbag ? is there anyway i can like lubricate the bag so that it doesnt make that noise ? to give it more flex i guess . any imput ? thanks
  13. oh ok . so when i jack up the car .... why would i need to hit the switch ? and where is the switch located ? cause when i did jack up the car to do the brakes , whichover corner that was jacked up and then let down , it wouold go all the way down .
