  1. Read the fine print of your lease agreement. What about the "Lemon law"?
  2. Send a PM to PIONEERSUBY, a fellow member here. I think the speakers are about $50.00 apiece.
  3. I replaced mine with Nakamichi speakers, just bolted in. Sound better, too.
  4. If the surface is still rough after a wax you need to strip the wax (use a squirt of dish washing liguid in a bucket of warm water) then clay bar the painted surfaces and then wax. I use Zaino. Let dry to a haze, usually about 30 minutes and wipe off. If the surface is still rough after a clay bar treatment, you may need to use polishing compound to smooth the surface.
  5. I have the same problem and found that there is a small plactic clip that holds the rod in the door handle mechanism. Haven't been able to find the clip. I have read that a wire nut will work. If you're lucky the rod popped out of the clip, mine broke.
  6. What city? If it's chuck hole heaven you'll bend a rim or blow a tire. Otherwise it should be great. I just took a set of Calli 18's w/235/40 18's off my wife's Accord. Not for the sake of the ride, but too much Bling.
  7. I would suggest taking it back to where you had the work done but then again they may have created the new problem. Look for broken/disconnected vacuum lines first.
  8. If your PS pump is not leaking check out the battery cable terminal ends. Lexus sells replacement ends. My negative cable end was fubar'd, got a replacement end from Hoy-Fox.
  9. The power steering pump on the SC300 is on the driver's side, alternator is on the passenger side. I just had my alternator rebuilt because the valve cover gasket was leaking, running down the heat shield and dripping on the alternator.
  10. Car died on the way home Tuesday. Had alternator tested and was informed that it had no output. Lexus wanted $600.00, Checker $188.00. Had it rebuilt for $140.00 at Genco in Mesa, Az. The owner showed me the armature. It was soaked with oil and the front bearing surface had a groove wore into it. Put it in and all is well.
  11. Shocks. Appears to me that the Illuminas are adjustable, too.
  12. Don't know if this helps but I changed out the Bilstein's for KYB's on my Corvette and a lot of the rattles and squeeks stopped. Rides a lot smoother now. Then there's these:Tokico's
  13. SC300/400 means Sport Coupe. Headlight discoloration can be rubbed out. My 95 SC300 has all dash/console lights working. After reading about the troubles here I turned down the brightness a tad. You'll be disappointed with the power of the 300 after driving your Lincoln. Can you say TURBO?
  14. Is your power steering pump leaking onto the alternator? Have the alternator tested.
  15. I have a manual for a 95, should be similar. Manual states (if resistance between terminals 1 + 2 of main heated oxygen sensor connector is 5.1 - 6.3 ohms at 68 degrees F) "check and repair harness or connector between main relay and main heated oxygen sensor, main heated oxygen sensor and ECM". From what I gather the ECU talks to the ABS/TRAC CU. If the ECU sees a trouble it's going to signal the ABS/TRAC to turn off. If you're lucky you have a dirty/loose connection.
  16. Check your battery connections for cleanliness and tightness.
  17. I used the little bumpers from kitchen cabinets. Lowe's or Home Depot.
  18. Check your motor and trans mounts. When was the last oil change? You probably need new shocks.
