    I, for one, think the air bag is an essential piece of safety equipment. You can change the wheel if you want but you can't figure in the butt-head factor (when is one going to pull a stunt in front of you?)

    Don't buy one from Lexus, the one I got from an insurance claim was $1,200.00. Look in the Audio forum or on Ebay.

    You should get used to the fact that there is nothing cheap about a Lexus. Watch Ebay or try one of the internet recycle places for used parts.

    You should pull the door panel and make sure the plastic vapor barrier is in place. If it's gone you will have to replace it.

    You need a BFI for starters: BFI I did the BFI and added Iridium plugs and went from 18 mpg to 20 mpg.

    Samething happened to me a few weeks ago. Everything checked out and when I started the car again, no warning light. Beats me.

    Go to Checker, Pep boys, Autozone, etc, and have the charging system checked. Might be alternator or even a bad battery connection.

    Get a piece of 3 ft pipe and slip it over the lug wrench. The added leverage should loosen the lug nuts. I keep a piece of pipe in my garage for "emergencies" like yours.

    As far as I know, when you sell a vehicle you have to sign the title. The motor vehicle would have a history but your name won't appear on the new title, just the new owner.

    I've got IS300 17" w/245/55/17" Predators. Nice ride quality.

    Per the Lexus brochure: standard stereo system is 170 watts, add the 12 disc-CD player and system is increased to 210 watts. Nakamichi is rated at 280 watts "of natural sound and incorporates thoroughly reduced distortion and extremely wide frequency response from upgraded electronics and speakers" As far as I know, nothing is common between the systems except the CD player.

    Nice ride but I would guess it would be more than a few thousand. Probably over 10. I now a guy who has an old cadillac and he cut the top off. Rides like a slinky.

    It might. You could also clean and regrease contact points on calipers and pads. Rotors might need to be turned also.

    You can use a hair dryer on the emblems to loosen them and pry off with a plastic putty knife.
