  1. Odd , i have never seen this before. All my cars have drl's and it just browns the glass but never a bubble.
  2. It also aids in suction for the fan to pull air through both rads and not just the rear one equally.
  3. Actually i do do alot of long distance driving , from Florida to Georgia , New York , New Jersey , Ohio, all from Ontario, Canada. So i do use my navigation quite a bit which is why i have 330 000 plus KM's on my LS . Dealers anywhere hate to replace a car never mind 3 times , and I'll be damned if they didn't make sure the 2nd one was not perfect in the first place let alone another half !Removed! built Lexus replacing it. The one above by kethineni mentions some issues but lets face facts . You have an idiot for a sales person and a dealer who backed them . It is in no way a bad representation of the vehicle and its reliability or safety to you. But for the love of god, your driving record had nothing to do with it that you did not get a ticket. You sir ,should have pulled off the highway to make an adjustment . So it was poor judgment on your part for not thinking about the implications of parking on the side of the road and not deciding where you were going before you left. So like all forums take posts with a grain of salt , including mine. Try an think through them for the whole and half truths and the utter lies. Good luck One thing I want to make clear is I am not telling lies here. SKperformance I have nothing to do with you and I agree that it has nothing to do with the vehicle reputation. I am guess that you do not travel long distances and never had a find a near by restaurant. Any way thanks but not thanks. Only God know the truth and who the liers are. Have a nice day.
  4. I said extended maintenance not the extended warranty.
  5. Their are some slight benefits to running a lower temperature performance wise but they don;t make a specific ES part but one that is for other cars and happens to fit it as well.
  6. Do you have air suspension or are you talking about the air condition compressor?
  7. o2 sensors sometime will throw a code if their is a vac leak or if the maf needs cleaning.
  8. this is the ones i have from camco http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product...0017653/c-10101
  9. Where did you get the toothpaste idea from ? BTW if you get a detailer to high speed polish them and a light wetsanding it will be perfect. The cover them in clear bra and it will never yellow again.
  10. Didi you change your battery since the last time it worked? My 98 opens all windows and roof from the key fob but he door cylinder opens and closes all.
  11. I smell troll. A troll is someone who comes to a board with an agenda. What makes a person search out an Internet forum ? To find an answer to their specific problem. Those who first post is to complain and have no answer or questions posed of how to relieve the situation have a completely different set of values . So armed with propaganda for other car makes will try and slander anything they can find. The funniest part of this is that is happening more and more often to import vehicle boards. Unfortunately many north American jobs are being lost so many of these people have started their own crusade to flog the Internet with horror stories based on little to no fact. Now how many of you have heard of a dealer swapping a car Dealers anywhere hate to replace a car never mind 3 times , and I'll be damned if they didn't make sure the 2nd one was not perfect in the first place let alone another half !Removed! built Lexus replacing it. 12. What was it endorsing , nascar or some other product.
  13. Common issue is the wheel bearing is worn and when you hit the brakes it goes out of spec easily. Get all 4 wheels checked for play .
  14. the car came with 16's you can go to 17 or a 18 with no problem , go to a local tire shop to see what is available that fits . larger wheels do not mess up the suspension only change the way it handles and rides.
  15. Alternators may test fine when wound up to a high rpm but at idle 700rpm does it continue with the proper amperage and voltage.
  16. It has been poorly tuned and it keeping power settings without being set for WOT. Get a shop to run it on a dyno for proper alignment.
  17. No bolt ons but one guy did get some projectors headlights from a jetta and they fit nicely.
  18. bad grounds or terminals also check your main fuses
  19. use the same set up as the IS 300 or banana gs on CL.
  20. Leave them on to be painted. It is attached with adhesive and bends if not removed properly.
  21. but you did get an extended maintenance package also didn't you?
  22. This is now pointless as much as an oil debate. It is now getting diluted from basic information with some practical data to opinions. If you are interested in more information it is all over this site and the web.
  23. your voltage is low , get your grounds checked as well as your battery and alternator putting out the proper voltage
  24. I get cars done here in Toronto done for $150-$250 for the whole car , minus hail damage and creases.
  25. It should be an EL strip lighting , so the whole peice would need to be replaced
