Is your alt or battery light on? If so check Ignition fuse under dash. I had the same problem with my 92. I replced Alt. Fuses, Battery. I checked ignition fuse and found ignition fuse holder was loose and not making good contact. I corrected this and the alternator started working.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my 92 lexus ls 400. The engine started loosing power and the exhaust got real hot. I replaced all the converters 3 of them. Problem still the same, no power and exhaust is real hot. From the converters back to the mufflers. Can it be the o2 sensors causing this :(

I took it to autozone and they checked it out. It was good

First my alt light doesn't come on at all. The car went dead and i check battery it was dead. I changed battery and it did the same thing. Replaced alt with same lexus alt. Same problem is happening. Checked fusible link and it was good. Someone please help. I had the alt checked at autozone it check out good. I noticed in the schematic that the alt warning light has a diode, would that be a problem? Does anyone have an idea of what this can be?

You think I need to check Alternator again. I am not getting any voltage coming from regulator signal wire to junction box. I removed blue/white signal wire from junction box and started the car and no voltage was present. What else can I do?

Took alt. to autozone and it checked out fine. Also I am not getting an alt light(Batt) in the instrument cluster.

I will take the alternator out and take it to Autozone and let them check it. I hope it's the Alt. Thanks

Hello I have a 92 ls400 that will not stay hold a charge on the battery. I replaced Alternator and battery, still same problem. It goes dead when I'm driving. Battery is completely dead. Voltage drops until car goes dead. Please help!!!!
