  1. aftermarket speakers will not be better they will be worse unless the amp and all the speakers are replaced together a normal 4ohm pioneer speaker will sound like crap it will have less output as it is not going to be as effiecent as the rest so you will hardly hear that corner
  2. stock pioneers but nothing to what is sold in a store compares not bad or good just made to completly different specs
  3. oem don;t use a h7 style or any other style they have a d2s or d2r bulb which either has a glare sheild on the bulb on it otherwise they are the same base
  4. which cars do that? sounds odd as it uses fm frequency which is going to be hard for a cell phone to reproduce correctly
  5. now that is a recommendation i find reliable by using both at the same time
  6. LS is a big car so it needs as much air direction for cooling as possible but if modified beside removing it it should be ok.
  7. they are mounted high in the engien bay so they only are subject to heat not water dirt or anythign else
  8. lots of options if it is going to rust fix it now with a lexus approved refinisher it it doesn;t bother you in the look then leave it until you are going to return it and fix it before returning it. It is it only light scratches then it can probably be buffed out and lexus wont; care less but don't get it fixed cheap if it is a damaged panel as they will charge you way more to fix it later becuase of problem which are negligable and not worth noting but in order to make it "perfect" they will charge you to return it to oem condition, which is why you use their body shop to do the repair so you are off the hook.

  10. paint them it is nto the hub rusting as it is coated with anti rust coatings it is brake dust imbedded on the suface which is rusting d2 makes a caliper paint which is amazing
  11. only hella /phillips ballasts ( they are the same made by phillips rebradned for hella,others may think different but have no clue) the earlier ones with built in ignitors seem to preform flawlessly over time which would be the 97-2000 style ones that i use also after having 3 types it is the best hands down with zero problems always add a seperate ground to the ballast cases have them properly sealed from water and use bulbs which are oem style of 4000 to 5300k colour for output and longevity never buy a bulb with tinted blue lenses for the purple colour. Buy a bulb with the oem d2r or d2s name on it and a good base adapter for your fitment as needed such as mine is 9006 don't buy them if you have any electrical problems as the ballasts are sensative to voltage spikes and drops(especially) if your alternator is not up to snuff replace ti before installing it. 300-500 is the price range for a new system this is a good kit with external ignitors but oem to toyota this is a style of crappy bulbs this is the styles i have in both of my personal cars and love them as does anyone else i know with them for reliability, they only have problems if they use crappy bulbs and cut off the red end harness which is oem for almost every manufacturer good luck lots of choices but few are quality taiwan quality ones are bull !Removed! you will be replacing bulbs and ballasts like you have money to waste. i have 2 cars and 7 ballasts with 8 bulbs ,case in point

  13. agreed plastic polish is perfect yellowed plastic is pretty much dead but can atleast look shineyas their is cheaper plastic in 95-96 headlight leans which yellow easily over time.

  15. lmao ,you guys want me gone? :( Glad you understand stryke it is an anoying problem but makes no issue for theose members who are regularly involved in the club for contributions of posts. I know quite a few forums where they have date delay only and it helps but not for those spammers who are quite happy with the free ads and waiting a few weeks with a huge favorite list ready to prey on.
  16. they always say hindesite is 20/20 most issues are simple fixes and common enough to get fixed once done the car shouls treat you well
  17. to test the alternator with a regualr meter or a load tester the 1mz alt needs to be tested when it is hot after running an hour and at idle it usually shows its colours them but never at cold idle also chaneg the battery cables while you are at it
  18. you also don;t read where i mentioned not to type in caps the V-1 is superior but i still know people who think ford makes the best car ever becuase they have never used anything else
  19. did you replace the tires with the same make and model? old tires will spin that is why you replaced them for added traction ,right?
