  1. You may have poped a fuse or a main relay/fuse check your fuses first i can't see how a resetting of the ecu (which clears codes) will start the car as it would have gone into limp mode to run.
  2. no way a dirty eg would cause that it would all be bad or good not half half
  3. I have a rebuilt pump because my main pulley bearing came apart the rebuilt one works fine after all it is only a few parts they actually replace and mine came with identical replacement bearings and parts inside
  4. the RX will have a better resale than the highlander though but it is pretty much identical
  5. the center of the hub is made to only fit with the large metal braces to line up behind the bolts works every time i tend to use smaller bolts i have rather than stress the bolts i will need
  6. as bulbd get old they change resistance it is a shot in the dark findin which one but the indicator only works for brake lights not anyother lights like signals change them all for about $10
  7. mettalic?it just screeches as you mention it is after not starting for a while and only shortly it is probably the pully on the belt slipping from excessive load trying to create 14.4vdc to charge the battery back

  11. an additive is a band aid it seals what is bad but also can block passages that may be small
  12. i would guess it is a vacum issue also otherwise you may have a blockage
  13. the door lock on the the drivers door is not closing properly causing all the door to not lock
  14. check the adjustment against a wall or garage door first and while you are adjusting if the car is not level the green levels won't help you if a mount is broken then they will never be able to use the levels properly again the ones with a cylinder behind the headlights and red lines around it adjusts up and down the other is left right
  15. might want to check your engine mounts but mroe than likely you are at the beggingin of a clogged valve body get an external tranny filter and you may just never have a problem again after a few weeks of usage

  19. look in the yeallowpages for automotive leak detectors their are tons and that is all they do ,which is find and fix all kinds of water leaks in cars only
  20. the rpice is a bit high as the last time i had mine done at lexus it was 800 canadian then i paid $200 to a lexus tech to change it again 5 months later because the water pump started to leak. the belt and pmup cost $250 canadian prices
  21. wow i finally know someone living a commercial i love the christmas lexus event with the bows and amazing looking houses glad you read the faq's and armed yourself with lots of good questions ,but already answered so i don;t have anything to add
  22. a master key with the buttons for the alarm of jsut a plain head which is $75 but not with the button on the side
