  1. true unlesss you always go right to the bottom of the tank everytime air is no problem even if it was it would sit in the fuel rail above the injectors and be siphoned off to the return lines.
  2. never heard of that except to give more variance to mesh all parts for milage
  3. no worries army if i was always right i would still be driving a domestic BUT VCV you might need to reread what i said in 97 VVT was introduced not vvt-i which was 99 their is a difference thanks for the correction and glad you learned something
  4. their is always leaks on the 3vz-fe mainly valve covers and rear main headgaskets atleast seem to last unless it overheats. your gasket on the egr may not need to be replaced it may be reusable depending on its composition.
  5. the marks on your paint are called sanding marks from the use of bondo which is sanded down with a low grit but being lazy and not following through with a high grit to make the surface flush you can bet they probably don;t even own a sanding block which is about 1 foot wide ( smallest size)to make the whole panel flush and plum not wavy like a bad civic fibreglass body kit ( you know your've seen them) with more wave than an ocean in its reflection. wetsanding will not remove them as they are not in the clear but the base coat and primer which has adhered to a bumpy surface. time to get the whole panel done again ,hopefully this time it will be properly
  6. older trannies from domestics in the 60 and 70's where better to leave sealed. It is better late than never. sorry if the last comment sounded abrasive as i reread it .
  7. well from the looks of it you NEED FR fender 300 hood 500 bumper 250 headlight 400 signal light 50 rad support 400 rebar 300 gas cover 100 RR 1/4 probably need a cut as repairing that deep damage is flaky 600 R bumper 300 repair frame damage for sure as it is lower on the right side 800 repair RR door 200 mice parts unseen 400 repaint whole car 2000 about 6600 total as a best guess
  8. actually the 94-96 is not the same as the 97 and up in 97 it gained vvt which also had higer emmision related changes which included the engine running at a higher internal temp which the revisions the engine oil does not get cuiculated and thus gets gummy (sludge) You may be lucky if you have allways had a diligent maintance schedule that the oil is just contaminated, get an oil flush and it may just clear up after 2 back to back flushes to remove the gum as it may not be sludge but water or something simple which also causes the oil to sludge itself. Remember the problem is only really bad when it is left causgni high friction wear otherwise it can be cleaned and be ready to go again. good luck
  9. actually it is not hard just disconnect the return line from the resvoiur and start the engine to lush it out then fill with proper fluid ,you may need to repeat if it has been in their for a while, but considering it was kept in the car it probably has a leaking pump right onto your alternator, very common problem
  10. i had better ones with !Removed! and otehr oddities but i think they bellong on other boards i have read them on for post editing
  11. clean the window and its tracks need to be lubed
  12. drain and fill asap to make sure it is not like normal systems ps flluid cannot take heat like tranny fluid
  13. if you have a 94 with sludge it is owner neglect not manufactuer someone didn't do their oil changes
  14. was a audio install years and years ago in an install with an SC doing the cover plate idea and kick panels for staging as per the length of the stage front to you
  15. 1don't know of any clunking noise 2the tranny is well known depending on your driving style 3 same as above 4depends on how you sit for it to not be uncomfortable ,try a G35 their owners are screaming lawsuit for poor design 5 not a sports car in any clothing, you wouldn't expect to corner well in a hummer would you? not part of its design 6 gas milage is an oddity 7all point of veiws
  16. vsv is not related to the egr as it has nothign to do with the other one changes flow rate to the injectors and the egr recuiculates exhaust gases also it is not a sensor problem but a valve one
  17. i think another member mentioned the chirper is behind the bumper mine is on the right side of the engine bay
