Hey I'm about to head off to Pharmacy School, or Law School. Whichever sends me a letter back first. But anyway I gotta part with the GS cuz the place I'm moving to wouldnt be the kinda place to have a car. Anyway it has 190,000 miles on it and those are about 75% highway. I'm asking --$5750 OBO-- for it and I'm located in Memphis, TN....if you wanna come pick it up that's cool. But I'd also be willing to drive within 4 hours of here to drop it off or meeting halfway if it's farther. I'm a non-smoker and work in cleanup at a Nissan dealership so I give it a nice detailing and waxing to keep it clean and what not. And it runs really well, everything works in it..I've replaced the timing belt, water pump, radiator, harmonic balance, just got the brakes done about a month ago and put a new alternator in it all as preventative maintainence because I can get work done for a good price at Nissan. I was thinking about taking the HID's out, but I can leave them in. They're 6000k. Hope the pics give a good idea. is a phillips 6000k kit brighter or more powerful than say a stock Nissan's lights or any other stock HID light? What's the brightest kit out there? i know that 4100k is the brightest, but i'm hearing that the phillips is more powerful

I replaced the battery since i cleaned it off and it was still giving me the click. The guy in the nissan shop where i work said my starters going bad, so i was right something messed up my starter somewhere in there. Autozone is pricing my starter at 127.99? is that too much or too little? and what do you think labor would be from lexus?

So letting go too soon every now and then won't be too bad for the starter?

A few times in the past weeks, I'll be cranking my car and let go of the key too soon. So it'll be right when the engine turns over and it'll sputter and die since I let go early. Or it just acts like it hated that by. Now when I crank it, it'll go CLICK. and after a few times it'll start normal. I think it might be my battery because my terminals are nasty, but is that bad to let go of the key too soon when cranking???? Oh and how much is it to replace the starter in a 93 GS?

Nope couldn't ask for a replacement, I had them shipped in last week from superhids.com. They shipped it really quickly too to my surprise, I wiped it down with an alcohol wipe. the lights look really good.

Dude at autozone let the back of his fingers touch my bulb and stuff, not his fingertips. but i dont want it to blow up or anything, how do i clean it?

K after hours of thinking about how to get it in, i looked at the bulb i took out. and noticed the new bulb had this little tiny rubber ring around the base, i took that off and it went right in. but the guy at autozone i just about killed, he was just movin it all over the place and now the little stick that goes \on the bulb next to it is scratched up. and he almost put his fingers all over it. it touched the back of his finger, is that bad on an HID bulb? it didnt blow up or anything yet, but i've only run it for about 30 minutes.

I can't get my left headlight(the bulb) back into the socket, I dunno any other ways to twist or fit that thing. help

I got a 93 GS and i found the screw to move the light left and right, but i cant figure out where the screw to raise it is. i tried using the one next to it, it didnt do anything.

I just ordered some 6000k bulbs from them about 45 minutes ago. It was right at midnight or 1215. How long did it take before they emailed you a receipt? I guess they'll email me mine in the morning, and how do I cancel an order from them? Anyone know?
