  2. agreed change it all or nothing but i have listenign pleasures diffrent from most members which is probably why i spent the money on equipment i love even if it was ridiculasly expensive
  3. hmm sounds odd mine also just turn the drl's on once i start the car with the handbrake up otherwise they are always on doesn't matter to me much as i drive with my headlights on anyway day or night so basically you want to instead of turing the drl on to turn the headlights instead of turning the switch?
  4. I think they recommended highway driving as it is less taxing on the electrical system as city involves using the brakes at idle which are a major draw even with instant 14.5 vdc it still take time to charge a battery

  6. Well first thing to do is check your injectors are receiving fuel then to make sure they work the rear plugs have wires and not a direct coil pack like the front 3 so i would check that coil as well
  7. Sounds like you have a bad thermostat the needle is made to be very vauge once it is in normal operating temps and only show when it is either very cold or hot so more than likely it is your thermostat but possible your temp sender
  8. Got a pic of it i have about 10 diffeent analog motos from that time frame ,all flips if you really still want it to say lexus you could always swap the cases
  9. oem wheels are realy tough and plated well with chrome make sure you clean the inside and outside and tehy will not start to peel the normal impact gun to remove bolts is fine as it is not the rims
  10. Rust proof it before it gets anymroe salt then once a month go to a coin wash and spray under the car and in the bumpers under them and wheel wells inside the edge this has kept my cars looking mint while others i have seen look like hell in toronto
  11. Well i talked to the person in charge of the plant regarding tours and other thing. She said their is no tour( tommorow, as i thought it wass this tuesday). As such she was really interested in where someone would think they were coming to one. She also noted the RX plant is still not open to the public only toyot/lexus dealers and employees still. The only part of the normal tour is where you see the RX weld plant while seeing the matrix corolla tour mainly.
  12. i doubt it the cd changer will click when ever you disconnect the power as it is checking for discs now with a light you are allowing it enough power to think but not enough to move. Which is the wrong way to look for parasytic draw you need an ammeter to do it properly
  13. umm is your a/c on? if the auto feature is selected it keep s the fans on which would explain it

  16. 92-96 have high and low you could try and buy the switches add the oem fuse to the block and see if it powers up otherwise run the power for them from the battery as they are high draw resistors shoudl be easy to change once the leather is coming off to replace also they sell heated massaging seat covers take oone of them apart and use the switches and wiring from that and place it under the leather
  17. it is law if the bulbs are ok then you need to trace the wires back to find the break if it was a spoiler mounted one then it probably would have broken in the arm hinge which is a common problem

  19. only thing i need to understand for sure is which one is the pass limits and the actual reading ones? but to be failing everythign i would say a cat is dead but it might be as a result of other problems as well including buring oil or a leaking injector

A tps it throttle position sensor it basically lets the computer know how much you are pressing on the pedal to adjust timing and fuel for the given load asked for by the driver pressing the pedal should be under warr ? it can be changed easily if it is a problem but it sometimes need to be recalibrated unlike most new electronic peices need to check the wires for it also it is on the intake manifold at the begining right where the ribbed acoridan hose meets the engine
  21. below the transmission is the sub frame and the road it is bettween the tranny and firewall under tbe brake booster

  24. I don;t want frayed ends ,besides i have one of those stupid calypso motion washers ,it can;t wash anything like that with is whirly birly top hot inside of it. Besides i prefer to break up someone elses washer ,lmao I no longer use pressure washers on my carpeted velour (oem) mats as it rips the fibres and embroidery over time and leaves tehm old real fast after a coupld of times so i stopped power washign them

If the visors are real JDM toyota oem parts then they shoudl have the chrome stip on them which it covers mine do and they also say toyota do not use adhesive but a clip setup that hold on the the rain gutter moulding i love mine as it is not even noticable i have them until you get up close or look at them from the front of the car. $150 is a bit pricey to me but i don;t know what 4 door ones go for either as mine are for my pillarless doors and stech from the mirrors to over the rear door in one peice i would need to see the strip in person to know for sure how good or factory clean it would look
