Hat's off to you again Dave for another years meet with lots of planning on your end. Last years was great and this should be even better. It is unfortunate the 2 things could not be combined or atleast 1 week apart so i could have time to visit family during the week. Especially since i have always wanted to go down to the "dirty south". I'd love to attend another "Lexus" only event but the nopi nationals is something i always wanted to do also. The only way to know what is going on for sure is to test the multiplexing computer inside the door. You would need to short out wires and gauge the computers reaction to responses. It may be just some parts or the wiring. Things to try. Does the drivers door lock make the alarm turn off (if armed or in panic) or on? Spray some pb blaster on the door lock area of the door and check for damage on the rubber insulator that houses the wires from the body to the door. Otherwise the door panel needs to be removed.

I made a post with my new brake rotors in the LS section. I never saw the Sport line before as they used to never sell pre drilled rotors only blanks. Thanks for updating me as i love there rotors especially with there new pillar cooling vanes, free mounting screws, carbon casting and micro balancing features. I really wish they listed the 95-2000 LS but i am trying to see if i can get the 2 piece Supra turbo rotors to fit as the pads are similar but different calipers and there is only a few thousands of a inch difference in the diameter of the 2 cars front rotors. 2 Piece rotors are much lighter and cool much better as well.

agreed that is why it was deleted. I am so sure McDonalds would say go ahead we don;t know you but you can mine our members for there feelings on Burger king whoppers. That is the higher end of pricing as the rotors can be bought for $250-300 on eBay as well as the pads for less. I paid a total of $250 for a full set of 13 inch drilled rotors and pads

You need to use a 1156 bulb with only a single filament as the 1157 bulb is making the wrong one work. You can also make the 1157 bulb fit differently to light up the brighter filament. What you need to do is turn the bulb and push it back in so it fits but it will be a very tight fit.

Led lighting is a great evolution in technology but to a few it is actually dimmer and can cause them not to see the light at all. Colour blind people can also find ill effects from the light distribution. It may not sound like a proper fix but adding lighting for around $50 for the whole car could rectify the dim output to your eyes. Personally i have been in the new LED cars at night and they produce more than enough light for me to function easily. That is also me and the way my eyes read the light.

You do not have to change to a ceramic rotor RX in NC ! Hell they only make ceramic rotors for Ferrari's and other exotics which need extended heat applications. Ceramic pads last longer and survive heat better ,they may make more noise especially if not installed properly and can wear the rotors surface faster but you do not have to go out and try and source a ceramic compound rotor which would be in the thousands of dollars if it is even made for simple vehicles such as a Lexus. That is definatly bad information to be telling people RX.

Most cheap aftermarket rotors also have the factory alignment holes. They are not needed but can be handy when doing work . Brembos will have the holes as my previous ones also had the centering holes. Getting drilled is a nice addition especially since you have smaller brakes than the ucf20 which mean you will heat them up faster and could use the holes to cool them down . You may not be a race car (driver style) person the car forces the brakes to work as hard as that , but because of the rotors being under rated for the job it will still cause them to overheat very easily. It only takes one major stop to make them worth the difference which is only marginal until really stomped on. BTW brembo does not drill or slot any of its rotors but only sells blanks until you get into their high end GT braking packages. I love my drilled i added a few weeks ago and would have choose brembo but they are not available for 95-00 ucf20/21 cars only the previous.

To me there is no difference as the 2 have nothing to do with each other.Any person who kills in the name of God is misguided . I don't believe death is to be inflicted by anyone but life itself. Yup you have 4 pot calipers. Nope the windows are the stock green tint from the factory. It adds a colour but not any darker than normal glass. I have a new set of mufflers which do almost absolutly nothign to making the car have an exhaust note. I have a few more peices i am waiting on which will free up the restrictions but also be very quiet except under WOT.

No problem on the questions. The rear parking brake is a shoe/drum sytem inside the rotors hat. The front calipers are the stock ones available on all 95-00 models standard equipment. They are 4 piston calipers which require a bit of work to press all 4 of them in toghether. I also have new wheels which are being refinished but show the calipers even less.

Get an alingment and show them the report with the car being in spec then tell them to pay for it as they were trying to discredit your warranty .

Well after 2 weeks they are stopping great still. It does not have the bite that freshly scuffed rotors have but i brake very lightly so i have a tendency to smooth rotors surfaces from my driving style. By doing that i also never get warped rotors from excessive heat. Well here are some pics that was taken last night. You cannot see the rotors but you can atleast see my anodized orange calipers. They are a very dark orange which are a subtle contrast to peek out from the shadows of the stock rims which never let on to passersby of the 4 pot calipers.As you can see in the first pic ,it does not even show up.

Heard of the berry stuff but can't find it in Canada either. I shoudl be in Jersey in a week or so for buisness so i will probably grab another case again there.

I am lost what is the hose connected to the a/c system? What is the 2 long things in the pic ,the valve covers? Is it a fast constant sparking or slow occasional one?
