  1. wow, have fun...... happy for you, glad it is not mine..... but when I was young, this took me 7 years... PS: paid 900, sold for 12000...... that probably figures out to .35 cents an hour
  2. if you dont talk to us, we dont know what you are doing?????????
  3. you better recheck your work, you had to damage something, if all else fails put the old parts back in, one at a time till you find the faulty one, then report back and tell us how you fixed it. cheers..
  4. from reading the comments above, the answer to your question is: "WE DONT KNOW" we have all had that type of failure and resolved the way stated. SO, you be the one who answers the question, you take your switches out and see if you can swap the damaged part, and make it work.... and if so report it here, and you will be the one who helps out others, and we can report your findings, to others. be sure and take photos, that will help.
  5. I had a RF switch fail on my 97, got one at a WY.
  6. try the local wrecking yard or craigslist for someone parting one out
  7. I have been running regular for years, no odors or problems.
  8. My 94 LS failed emissions and the code was converters, I bought two off ebay, put them on and it passed. SO, your question... Can Changing Converter Fix Emission Problems? YES.... it did mine
  9. it has been covered many times, just do a search and do a little reading.
  10. I know mine and yours are different, but I thought it might give you some direction, your listing indicated you didnt know what to do. see if this will help you out....
  11. I have never had to do this, but the manual is below. good luck ac-30.pdf ac-31.pdf ac-32.pdf
  12. (this is a repost, but covers yours) That could be so many things. You need to start with how your car is acting, and do some deductions from that. Just from that code (25), it could be the IACV, a vacuum leak, bad pcv valve, dirty/bad injectors, dirty air filter, exhaust leak, bad maf, bad O2 sensor, broken/open dipstick plug, fuel pressure loss somewhere, or simply bad gas (too much moisture in your fuel lines)..... To check IACV. Have car warmed up and at idle. Turn the steering wheel. Does it almost stall? To check vacuum leak. Buy a can of Brake Cleaner and gently spray your hoses while the car is running. If idle changes then you found your leak. Do the same for the pcv valve. To find an exhaust leak. Seafoam the car through the brake booster. When its time to turn on have someone check the exhaust pipes for white smoke. That'll tell you where the exhaust leak is at. To find out if its the injectors. Reset the ecu and let the car warm up. When it's fully warm is the idle really really low? Does the car shake a little? To clean the maf. Since your car is a 92-95, clean it with compressed air, electric parts cleaner, or VERY gently with alcohol. Do not use the hotwire maf cleaner from the store. It's easy to check the filter/gas... To check the O2 sensor, this would be the last thing to look at. (Process of deduction) If everything else is good then it might be the O2 sensors.
  13. nothing......... this thing comes on for several reasons. ..even unequal tire pressure. I have read several threads about TPS, Crank shaft position sensor, loose gas caps, and several about bad batterys.... do you have a car you can borrow a battery out of and try it? check this: I replaced the gas cap for $13, and that took care of the TRAC OFF warning light issue
  14. just remove neg batt cable count to 15 and replace, if it stays off, it is done, if it comes back on go to Autozone and have them read the code for you, and report back.
  15. I'm sorry I dont, but I read in another posting, all dash lights out. removed the cluster and tapped on the side and back and plugged it in and they were on again, and stayed on, he figured a loose connection. he said the dealer wanted 2500 to fix the problem. that is all I can tell you.. good luck
  16. run a test and give us the codes, then we will be able to help you, with out guessing at all the different possibilities that might be involved
  17. try removing the neg batt cable for 15 seconds and reinstalling it... and let us know..
  18. Steve the 95-97 are the same, and some 98 are the old style T&T also..
  19. Micah, both of mine idle at around 400 with the AC off & about "6 ish" with it on...
  20. you dont need us guessing at all the different possibilities that could cause your problems, have a professional check it and tell you what it needs and then maybe we can offer some suggestions.
  21. I do not know anything about BFG tires, because I always buy Michelin, either Symmetry or Energy. They are speed rated 112-118 and that is faster than I am going to drive. The Michelin Primacy MXV4 are rated 130 and probably better than mine in some ways, but the Michelin are a very quite running tire, and I like that.. plus when it snows, I stay home and dont drive, it never last more than a couple of days here. good luck on whatever you choose.
  22. If it is not causing a "sound" or causing your alignment to wear improperly, dont worry, but keep your eye on it from time to time
