btw i have same plans for my car as well and i'm slowly collecting money for this big project (its hard to share $ between car and GF:)). i also plan to install a body kit and complete repaint of the car. all ur mods +body kit and repaint will cost me but my car will be almost unique. and for regular transportation i will use Acura integra which i just bought for 500$ while LS will be my toy!

there is a very good spot new brooklyn new york. its an old airfield so meet can be there since its free. there are couple motels located in 5 mile radius and prices are not that bad.tristate is NY, NJ and CT

when i got mine amp was dead as well:) but they fixed it on the spot by switching it with another Ls on the lot:)

no offence but speakers are not that great for the money you paid. you can get top of the line pioneer 2-way speakers on ebay for this kind of money. i use crutchfueld just to see whats out there and then buy stuff either at ebay or at local warehouses. i love JBL and i use it at home but when it comes to car stereo you should use iterh pioneer, kenwood, polk or at least sony.

the exisiting brand i would recommend is MTEC. just search on ebay for a MTEC H4 bulb and buy it. the last much longer then any other brands i tried.as to the HID setup it will cost ya around 400$ the cheapest one and you have to know that its illegal to install them in your car if it didnt come with it from the factory.

first of all, gen II is lighter, more powerful and has strenghtened body. it has more legroom, refreshed engine and transmission, a lot of ECU were replaced with newer models. i was checking repair manuals and they are mostly different. the only thing that is about the same is the engine. whole car looks more muscular and bigger.

this is the geni GS as i know and i was concerned aboud gs400 98 and up. still good to know there is one model out there. btw i know that in japan gs called aristo....

i dont think you can fit a know from another gen LS. i have a gen II ls and i dont have any buttons at all. i dont have a button to press to put it into drive i simply press brake and shift it:)

i also have a 96 LS with the phone and my search in this field didnt give me any results so far.:( so i guess you stuck with it and should use ur regular mobile phone:)

yes the phone is causing this beep. just turn the phone off. you dont have to disassmble anything. just press the powerbutton and your problem is gone. this annoyed me for a week too when i got my car.:)

i'm up for anything:) i think management team should make a global announcement regarding those issues so we will have more feedback and ideas about those meets.

i'm pretty sure its the suspenscion problem. my brother had the same simptoms and when he changed struts and springs in front with OEM parts the problem was gone

you should be slightyly worried:) what you should do now is get the error codes while light is on and that will tell you what exactly is wrong and THEN:) you will know if you have to worry or not. there is a special procedure how to get those codes out of your car since genI has been changed in 92 or 93. but i'm sure one of the 92 guys here will tell you exaclty what to do once he will get his eyes on this post

was your climate control fan on? i have the same noise in the acura when i turn on the heat or AC and this noise is due to faulty bearing in one of the fans

how can you alter the timing if ignition is not electronic? you still have only 2 coils and rotors instead of 6 coils and no rotors

you can drive in with od off in the city when you dont go over 30-40 mph. but you will sacrifice fuel economy but hte car gonna be more responsive if you push the accelerator. on the highway you should keep it on (light off) otherwire you gonna rape you car by not lettin it switch into 4th gear.

yeah balancing fixed it in my case! and i didnt know about that inb the beginning so i changed my 2 front rims and it cost me a fortune! and the rpoblem was only in the 7$ tire balance...
