he has factory 2jz-gte engine with factory turbos. origianlly he had 1jz-gte signle turbo engine since his car is 87. but a year ago he bought half ot the new supra in japan that had tt engine in it. i'm pretty sure they are not nissan. his engine is pretty much stock except couple minor mods.

my 1996 nakamichi sysystem doesnt have it as well as my friends pioneer system in 99 GS. i'm not even sure if there is such option available for the audio system since it cannot be used anywhere else but your model

i changed fuel filters and it didnt help in my case:) it is still takes around 1.5-2 secs to start mine:)

no maf and coil:) gen II LS doesnt have electronic ignition:) we have only 2 coils total:) but you cant be sure without error codes for these cars. too much stuff in them.

if those lights are on it means that there are error codes. if you will get them out you will know what is wrong. go to autozone and ask them for the scanner. they do this for free. when you get those codes you post them here and i will tell you what is wrong and what to do to fix it

yeah water leak can cause this :) did you remove your rear seat?

yes, if they SEC didnt popup it means you dont have it. i have never seen any LS with this SEC to be honest with you. not on pioneer and not on nakamichi

my friend got a 2j-GTE engine from japan with tranny as well and engine has 2 turbos! i just got off the phone with him and he told me that it doesnt matter how many turbos you got it still gonna be only 1 T. g- tpe of engine. t - turbo or not and E means electronic injection. if ya all interested i can make pix on monday since we work in the same office and park on the same lot. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/gallery/LS/100_0021 here is a pic of it. and on monday i will post couple more pix. btw even with twin turbo this guy's brother can beat him on his 1990 nissan sentra with single turbo!

yu will check the continuity in the wire from amp to the headunit. you have to eliminate this problem as well. its too late to write the rest of troubleshooting rite now so i will do it omorrow nite :)

its good that you knew what caused the problem. in my case i had to spend much more to change tires, rims and rotors and only after that i realized that it was a bad balancing job. B) since my old rims were ok i sold them on ebay:) but damn it was pain in the neck to find what was causing those nasty vibrations.

yeah it came with evything. all the parts requred for installation are in the box. whole setup took me only 1.5 hours to complete and i had no problems afterwards whatsoever.

i still cant find it for the LS gen II i even doubt if there is a sway bar for gen I. have any1 ever seen it? i would really like to get one!!!

i cant really understand what you are trying to stay. first of all please dont type in caps since it means screaming and second please be more specific about the problem you have since its really hard to understand the sequence of your actions

i had tis problem for a while and i even bought new crome stock rims which cost me a fortune but it didnt solve the problem. i changed ttires as well and it didnt help either. i changed rotors and pads on the front and it didnt help!!!! after that i did a wheel balancing and now my ride is nice and smooth like new!

it seems that those problems are moslty with Gen I cars. i think its because they are aging and there is no cure for this. gen II LS doesnt have this problem. i had tvibration once and it turned out to be unbalanced wheel. now my ride is nice and smooth but i saw a post recently in the GX forum that there is a problem with a tranny that gives nasty vibratiions and a lot of owners are really frustrated with them

nu nu is it the same for FM AM stations and tape? if they all work fine then check all the cables to the amp. your amp located in the trunk check for continuity in the cables. let me know of the result and we will proceed to another steps.

is there a wooden shifter for a gen I LS? i was working on vallet for a while couple of years ago and i never saw one witha wooden shifter since it has buttons in it. gen II also didnt come with a wooden shifter, mine was a present from the dealer when i got the car and it came from the 99 LS. i also saw same wooden shifter on ebay for like 40$:) remember it doesnt have any buttons you just unscrew the old one and screw new one.

for the 1993 standard is 215/60 and not 225/60 225/60 became standard only on the 1995 model if i remember correctly

nope there was a harness in the kit, i just bougt the complete kit with all the required parts

check the impedance and wattage of the original one and then find some 8 inch sub that has specs in the close range for original. impedance should be exactly as the opriginal while wattage can be bigger but should not be less. aslo b4 gettin a new one check pix and read reviews on the installation to make install as troublefree as ytou can
