  1. it might be smth else now:) have your car checked for codes again
  2. why 2k? engine rehaul parts are around 500$ only how much is the air suspension? why dont u convert to regular suspension?
  3. they have different flavors of tint and if the shop is good they should be able to find u a perfect match and not just install fist black tint they can find. price for tinting should not be more then 180$.
  4. actually win95 O2R II had USB support with downloadable patch even b4 win98 was released but this is offtopic in this forum and IMHO linux rulez:) P.S linuxfan: ur link is not workin....
  5. i think its time to let win95 go:) as to the tools i have mostly any tool that i need and if i dont have it my friends do since most of us are hooked up on cars together we have any tool that i can possibly need.
  6. i dont think these 2 are connected. check ALL the lights when the brake pedal is pressed and then when your parking lights are on. as to the brake pads light well first... check ur brakes and then remove your right front tire and check the wire. it might be just the wire.
  7. def not frame or stuck caliper but might be a tire problem, either a bad tire or a difference in the pressure. LS is very sensitive to tires and pressure.
  8. note that 90-92 and 93-94 MIght have different codes.
  9. thats what i'm talkin about, nice OEM rotor will cost you 80-100$ alone for each one. not counting the brakes:)
  10. i also heard that this vvti thing might be a problem on cars with high mileage since it will require frequent adjustments do to its hidraulic nature.
  11. and here is the final picture
  12. The ECM uses the signals from the NCO revolution sensor and crankshaft position sensor to monitor the engagement condition of the lock-up clutch. Then the ECM compares the engagement condition of the lock-up clutch with the lock-up schedule in the ECM memory to detect mechanical trouble of the shift solenoid valve SLU, valve body and torque converter clutch.
  13. yeah, have them resurfaced, do front ones first since they are more susceptible for this kind of damage
  14. are they OEM toyota parts or generic?
  15. i never saw any headlight covers designed for any version of LS400
  16. yeah ur parking brake is a drum and its not connected to your hidrauylic brake system. it uses the hand brake cable to engage and disengage the brake. so dont worry bout it. its nothing. just check if your hand brake functions properly - put it in neutral on a lil slope and thats pretty it.
  17. i paid 30$ for filter and 25 for labor
  18. very nice rims but i would take em in crome or gunmetal
  19. 1uzfe, do WHOLE tune up, not partial, change all wires rotors caps, air filter, fuel filter and then you might notice a slight difference. dont expect that changing spark plugs will give u any perfomance gain. its like applying a 1 patch to a tire with 10 holes.....
  20. car has been designed to use premium fuel, it means that ECM logic for engine and tranny are based on the qualities of the 93-95 octane and using any other octane fuel will lead to the shortened parts life, perfomance decrease and non economic fuel consumption
  21. i had these coke spills as well and some product i forgot its name that i bought inthe pepboys helped!!! stain was gone completely! i will give u the name of the product during the weekend since i left it over my GFs parents garage:)
  22. 350$ only for labor, parts are extra rite?
  23. i dont think they make them aftermarket
  24. change the battery. i had same simpthoms just without the engine one. if its dieing simple recharge will not help so you will need to change it. ls400 is very sensitive to the battery health so dont be scared:)
