lexus suspension is soft enuff so you are not sacrifising much, i had T rated tires b4 and it was like riding on baloons, now i feel the road much much better, i ahev to admit its stiffer then the previous tires but for just a alittle bit.

what is the part number for the tool for the v8 engine? i'm gonna do mine and i'm gonna write a howto article

lexus specifically mentiones in the manual that only tires V and above should be installed on the LS, i wanted to get the hydroedge first but the guy checked the book and said that they dont make them in V so i cant get them, installing H rated tires will really affect the handling and perfomance.

changed the tires and it feels like i got another car. cornering, handling, everything is so much better! no more spinning during rainy weather! the whole car was shaking and tryint to do whatever it wanted to do when i was chaning lines, now it just does it! even when i turn the steering wheel when the car is not moving its much easier to do so!!!! i simply love them!

if you dont mind me asking, why would you want to do that?

well, to be honest with you, those cihps that they sell on ebay are real perfomance add ons will cost you few grand and i dont think you should play around with electronics on the LS 2005 since the system is too sophisticted and if u blew it it kills the warrantly and then you are out of luck my friend if you have $ to get a 2005 LS why would want to put a perfomance chip in it? for this money get urself an evo8 or 2 or 3 new mustangs and modify them there a lot of hardware availble for both cars LS was just not meant to be a perfomance car, its a LUXURY SEDAN plus even with stock engine it will outperform 90% of the cars on the road.

IMHO the phones are to make calls, not to take pictures or watch videos:) all i want in the phone is a good battery life and a strong service and my lg vx6000 does that :) it holds the charge for 2-3 days there was a recent article in the pc magazine about all those extra features in the phone and verizon now has a phone that is GSM/CDMA capable thus its goinna be working in another countries. also verizon has few phones with a fullsize keyboard. i personally dont care how many megapixels are inthe camera phone i use my SLR camera to take pix and i find all those ringtones really annoying, me and ppl around me usually keep their phones on vibrate. i understand that companies are trying to combine few different gadgets into a phone but i dont think its going to be worth it. simlicity and reliability are my goals when i buy my things. eg i was driving my friends brand new infinity m35x and i have to admit its a nice car and the dash looks rather comlicated but when it comes to reliability and how easy things are to use lexus dash is much more intuitive and everthing looks rather well placed despite of a first impression of a rather simple console. just my 5c:)

verizon provieds those high end features and service is awesome the only bad thing abotu vzw is it is a litle bit overpriced but IMHO its better overpay then have some bad service like tmobile or singular provides

prolly they gonna reveal sc330 this year.. but 330 means V6 and not I6.... and as far as i know I6 is more powerful but it comes only in 300 as of now this is why there were no gs or is 330

one of my tires blew up recently and i saw that it is time to replace all of them went to costco and ordered 4 new michelin pilot AS 225/60/16 tires total is 700$ did any of you guys tried those tires on LS?

NO, 95 model used nakamichi while the 98 and up that have navigation used mark levinson system which is completely different thing, this is for starters, electronics on the 95 and 98 are completely different so it will not control your AC.

your fule filter can and will affect your mileage and you should change it with the OEM filter which is around 25$ at the dealer, the filter is located next to your rear differential and its really hard to change without the lift. i would recommend going to mechanic to change iit. this way you will save yourself some time and prevent gas getting into your eyes. :D
