  3. during the last oil change i had problems with the thread on the original plug so i had to put a new thread and use the plug from the lincoln towncar, apparently it does not hold as tight as the original one and every day i see few drops under the car. what would be a best solution here? use the rubber plug? change the oil pan?
  4. i refer to the lexus repair manual, i use oem parts extept spark plugs. i use denso iridium spark plugs, as far as i remember the part number is ik20. rotors and caps are relatively cheap and you can always check if they are good or not by analizing the carbon accumulation on the contacs.

  21. i dont know about the ECT button but all the pwr butotn does is make the tranny switch gears at higher rpms, BUT the ECM switchets gears the same way when you floor it anyway, so what ECT does is switched gears at higher rpms without you having to floor the pedal.
  22. well there should not be any way you shoudl be able to disable the light, , its not only the light but also a pressure sensor in the seat and they go throu their own ECU, as to the last post, not wearing a seat belt is your own problem but it saved my life once and another time when i was not wearing it i had problems with my neck when the aribag hit me so bad that it almost broke it. but its your life, go ahead and do what you want.
  23. i have only 1 fan and ive never seen it working even during the hottest days and my car never overheated. there is a sensor that connects to the radiator you might have it checked in case you want to, but AC and engine have separate radiators and they are not connected in any way, so your car will neveroverheat coz of the AC
  24. there are only 4 gears in the ls tranny not including reverse... so you are prolly talkin about 3rd and 4th gears there are lots of different reasons why it might be doin so, one of them are the converter locup and another one is electrical problem
  25. thank you man:) i will keep you updated on the progress:)
