HERE IS A UPDATE!!!! After years wating for court they (GA Farm Bureau) settled out of court for a smaller amount than what i was trying to get. Just to let you know this company as i have found out is FAMOUS for this. Just thought id put an end to a long lasting problem. If you are with a Farm bureau comapany i would switch companies and fast!! THanks for your support.

Hey lexus folk, to clear a few questions up here are a few details. First, the car has been stolen over 15 months ago. I have been making payments on this car and still owe 2 years on it. The insurance co GA farm bureau has drug this out and i was cooperating but in fact have had an attorney involved for over a year. I WISH this were some urban folk lore but in fact is a night mare. There seems to be many ways that this car in fact can be stolen but since most every one here owns or had owned a lexus COULD MAYBE SOME ONE WHO HAS A RELATIONSHIP OR GOOD RAPOIRT WITH A MECHANIC AT THE LEXUS DLRSHP WHO WOULD OR COULD SAY HOW THIS COULD BE STOLEN WHEN I HAVE ONLY KEY. (THAT I KNOW OF)...........................PLEASE DONT LET THE RICHEST COMPANIES IN THE WORLD SCREW OVER ANOTHER GOOD CITIZEN. As a side note i have had insurance on my home and lincoln as well as the lexus with this same company. and never missed a payment. What a crock of crap!!! ANY HELP?\ Mike

Not to bring up a perhaps old subject but I am in the process of sueing my insurance company but i am having a hard time having a mechanic of lexus or one that works on or knows extensively the alarm systems of lexus that will admit that the vehicle can be stolen without a key. If any one knows a mechanic or could ask please let me know . Thanks, Mike

I have started to sue GA Farm Bureau. I thank everyone for their input and info. I still have to figure out how to make these car payments and attorney fees. The bank that loaned the money is not willing to work with me even though i have continued to make the payments for 10 mos and not having the vehicle. I asked for a few payment delays and they said that due to the fact that i havent lost my job or hardship "like that" they couldnt delay a payment. " Well, i have good credit and i dont know wether or not to continue these payments as it will be very, very hard. When i win the lawsuit a year or so from now they will be paid off but it will be a paid charge off. I really dont want that. I guess ill find out . GA FARM BUREAU and from the very beginning they said they werent going to pay the claim and they had talked to me like a piece of trash when ive had a 03 lincoln aviator a 99 lexus and a house ALL INSURED WITH THEM. Thanks for all the info. If any one has any more info regarding thefts of 99 model lexus ls400 i would be very greatful. Mike B

1999 LS 400 I just cant believe that a insurance company can denie a claim and the only way around it is to take them to court but the costs of an attorney and the car note is terribly high. I have already made 8 payments since the car was stolen and have just received notice that they wont pay. Now i have a year and half to go to court. Who can afford all this? They are counting on this but i dont know what to do. If i persue i will have spent $5000.00 for legal fees and 15000.00 in payments!!! FOR A CAR I NO LONGER HAVE!!! SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATED!

My lexus LS 400 was stolen and torched. They have not caught the thieves yet and my insurance co Ga farm bureau has DENIED my claim. They claim that the car CAN NOT BE STOLEN without a key. Thing is, i have the ONLY key that i was given when i purchased it used almost three years ago. I owe $26,000.00 left on this vehicle and have nothing. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS VEHICLE CAN BE STARTED WITHOUT THE KEY ? If not how did they get my car? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED as i am not a wealthy person who can just pay this balance and pay my attorney for the next year and a half and have a 50% chance of making them pay. I think the insurance company is counting on me to go away but right is right and they should pay. Thanks, Mike B PLEASE HELP
