    You are starting to remind me of akewlguy and his 10 posts a month how he loves the "LS". LOL What part of Brooklyn is that , i have never seen such a pleasant looking "hood" ?

    DC i am not sure what you are going on about ? The wheels compatibility i am not sure so i can;t help you there but the harness of the bag should still connect. There is a company called leatherique who have many local dealers who can dye it for you. Or find a local vinyl pool cover in the yellow pages .

    Is it still leaking or is it just the alternator has finally given up from previous condition?

    There is no best setup there is only what you want to get out of it. You want bigger lowering clearance of fenders and shocks comfort 18's in chrome Your best bet is to get educated on a tire site like tirerack for basics . Offsets is not what causes calipers to rub but the "X-factor" . The GS has normal brakes so they are easy to find a wheel that works . What do you want to lower it with>? How low?

    If there is the right type of bus it can be done to control the Ipod from the CD changers controls on the dash. I am no expert as i don't listen to Mp3's.

    Thanks grand, The wheels are staggered 8.5 wide (255/35-20) +15 mm spacer up front and 9.5 (275/30-20) out back. I don't use the headlight washers other than to show them to people who ask them about them. They do work well when it is lots of dirt and snow outside but i try and not have a dirty car to need them. Its pressure is the same windshield ones. If i am moving then it does have some over spray but not much.

    What type of road and driving conditions is it when it happens?

    You may have seized caliper sliders , did you lube the slider pins on the floating caliper when doing your brakes?

    It uses good ol' dexron tranmission fluid not a combination or any other strange thing for the powersteering /hydralic fan system.

    I take it you do not have air suspension? Mine had bad roll as well but once i replaced it with coilovers it became very mannerly in corners as well as still being very smooth. Changing your springs alone will loose any lexus ride you have . Save your money and buy some coilovers it is worth it.

    For higher pressure to seal a leak it probably would be on a rubber part that is stretched against some metal. I would spray some soapy water near the struts .

    I love the cars new look especially in that bronze/gold. I also know it will all go out the window for me once i get a new LS460 on the road to play with.

    I would try and investigate the shifting for the exact part needed. Finding a used one would likely have the same issue.

    No such thing. You can get an upholster to redo the interior .

    It basically works by taking a paperclip and shorting two pins on the connectors . Since you reset your battery you will have to wait until it stores another code as you erased the last one .

    Aluminized will rust and break down much faster as well as being thinner causing more resonace inside the cabin. Check the code by jumping the pins to find out what is the issue for sure.

    Actually you do hear of corrosion on rims alot. The wheels won't rust off but will have a reaction. It is usually along the bead lip where the only actual heat from friction is created to cause a catalyst reaction when combined.

    Not a bad job. Did they use aluminized or stainless steel piping? $525 is ok as i have had $650 CAD quote for replacing all the piping up to the mufflers from the headers . This would involved remaking the first set of curves but you did get new mufflers and mine was to keep my L-sportlines. If you reset the ecu you will have dramatic gains other wise it will slowly adapt over a week to the new freedom.

    It sounds like your damper door is blocked with leaves probably. You need to also check your filter for debris. There is a hvac test in the general section as well.

    The MB is garbage and is due for a redesign. The IS is very nice as is the BMW i would rate the Acura over the MB .
