  1. I find it really hard to belive if not impossible that you can remove a cat and muffler to gain 43 whp. Or are you trying to say it at the flywheel? Did you do a base line for the dyno and car?
  2. Pinned: ****this Section Is To Post Tutorials*** ALREADY DONE FOR YOU TO READ,NOT ASK FOR This is what is at the top of the forum for you to plainly read. find the correct one and you might get an answer that might help you.
  3. You may have a worn suspension part causing the wheel to occasioanly be centered correct and other times off point.
  4. wow that is a list, i guess you are all about the hip hop.
  5. 20's are possible ,but why ,thet are too big for such a small car especially fwd

  7. moved to buy and sell section besides this question is all over that forum
  8. Buy a silicone ( racing ) hose kit for 20 -30 it comes in too many colours but black is available and best. It works wonders and works much better and longer than rubber as it is less brittle and more resistant to vacume suction
  9. Your y pipe is broken about $250 for a lexus part $50-100 labour for 6 bolts to be undone do not buy an aftermarket one. Your dogbone is broken causing it to also break the ypipe now.
  10. I would say the rad is leaking and the tranny cooler which is a thin line at the bottom ruptred also,DO NOT try and drive the car or you will need a tranny as well. Their is a guy looking for a 94 and up ES for $3000 with the damage it should be worth that. You need hood 250 grille 100 rad 250 bumper cover 300 rebar 250 possible rad suport as tehy are weak not sure about 450 foglights? 350 lower grille 80 lots of misc parts like shrouds under the rad and bumper about $1000 for them alone. Buy a jdm front clip for about $1000 with hood headlights bumpers (no rebar, may even find one in the same colour already so no painting needed.
  11. You get what you pay for, glad you read the FAQ to learn all you could. Welcome and hope you find the car you want. Pay a little extra for the colour you want now as it is a waste to change it later because it is a colour you don;t like ,such as champange or tan.
  12. You have to use premium gas from now on. I think their is something to be done or the cel comes on, i can;t remeber what it is ,see what a search shows up.
  13. The easy out stuff is best once you drill a small hole first with a smaller diameter titanium drill bit first.
  14. I didn't know a LS came in mica blue or maybe the spectra mica blue is different from the IS and GS ? Hid's come with yellow fogs, halogen lights have white fogs. also you can see them auto level when the car is started.

  16. any 92-93 that is a great deal will be a great deal of headache later or already as most are.
  17. I would say you wired the power to the dimmer switch from the radio and are causing problems with it. Disconnect it and you should be ok.
  18. Their is always a difference after a motorvac, a regular flush not really. Most dealer do not have a motorvac as it takes away from their business for replaceing parts. Snap on makes the machine and it makes you wonder how dirty an engine you had after. What did you get from google in your area?
  19. I come down to heat cycling causing the bolts to get surface rust which seize them but the bolts itself are good. Are you asking for help in a question or just venting? Be lucky it is every other bolt my 89 civic recently had a full suspension swap while it sat on my drivway for 3 weks while i got backordered bolts at $10-15 bucks a pop as all 13 of them were seized,i did get lucky as one came out nice and easy.
  20. I didn't mean to change the distributer but the rotor and cap. I meant you have a distibuter ,right. Change your cap/ rotor as it is a cheap and usually needed maintance part. my bad explaing it.
  21. Don't you have a distributer and cap? Change them
  22. An easier way to acess the back also is to remove one bolt from the dogbone mount and have the transmission in park as you park it on a slant forward this will cause the engine to rock forward for added clearance. then place into neutral to rebolt the mount
  23. I agree with mb on the loosenig on sludge but you are supposed to add it to hot engines so the chemicals slowly can work and disolve the crud slowly under heat to liquify it and be drained after. It might be moer of a problem in loosening crud sealing oil form leaking from old gaskets more as it is commong with older engiens gettign a nice synthetic oil after build up of years.
