  1. Hey, I am really sorry to say this but your car(bumper) can get scratched when it is in service. I usually drop my car in the morning and pick it up when it is dark. Because I am a loyal lexus customer I just drove out after services. One day, I had found a thin deep scratch in the front bumper(passenger side) couple days later. I was so mad but there was no way to prove it. I know it's from dealer because I just parked my car in the garage after service. Maybe I had really bad luck but I learned my lesson. Check you car before and after...............................
  2. You can find how to access the navigation menu from many web sites. If you search for Toyota navigation menu (http://www.oemvalue.com/... siennaclub.org...) But, no one mentioned about 2nd and 3rd Japanes menu. That's what I am interesting. I found there is a button on 3rd menu that will close the diagnostics menu. You don't have to restart your engine. I will tried to get some pic and post it here. And, I found the navigation diagnostics doc for Toyota from http://www.oemvalue.com/navhelp/navdiag.pdf - Pretty Interesting.....
  3. While I was check my RX330 Navigation Map Data version I found 2 other menus written in Japanese. Would you please someone who can read Japanese translate that menu? I think in the last menu it has option to change the tape to the MD option(The Head Unit also has MD audio in slot ????). This is how to get into the Naviation Menu ------------------------------------------------ Turn off the light Press and hold the INFO button Turn on the light and off 3 times Now you get regular Navigation Menu (English) In the Navigation Menu(English) Turn off the light Press and hold the INFO button Turn on the light and off 3 times 2nd Naviation Menu (Japanese) In the Navigation Menu(Japanese) Turn off the light Press and hold the INFO button Turn on the light and off 3 times 3rd Naviation Menu with (Tape or MD option) (Japanese)
  4. If the Navigation system is available in your selection I also recommend getting it. I also used to say Maybe... I don't need it, but the rear view camera option and the navigation system are very handy. It's hard to make you think how it is handy but.. It's like... you got a cell phone first time.
  5. It was actually very simple. All you have to do is plug it into the back of the head-unit. Please someone post some pics, how to access the back of the head unit? have to remove the dashboard to access it or is there anyway to access it the back of the head unit easy way? Also, please post the pic of microphone unit. Thanks
  6. So, It's not going to work and will may harm my car if I install it. I will stay away from it. Thanks
  7. Hi, When I browse the e-bay i found the RX330 AIR INTAKE SENSOR MOD 20HP CHIP. Is there such thing? Performance Intake Sensor Mod Adds Up To 10 to 20 HPs Your car This mode willmodify your stock ECU with a Timing Advance Resistor Mod. Once the resistor is installed, the ECU will read that the air coming in through the intake is cold air. This will give you the power that you want for your car without spending all that money. This generic modification is a fraction of the cost of the expensive $300+ECU upgradees, this is extremely easy to install, and does virtually the same thing, adds UP TO 20 HP. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33597
  8. I had same case here. Someone scratch my rear bumper while he/she parked. The bad thing is I don't know when/where it happened. One day when i wash my car I found and was so mad and upset. :chairshot: -----------------> :cries: But, I am also upset about the paint quality on the rear bumper and the location of the light reflector, that's the where most sedans' bumper and hits. I think the paint (base and clear) on the rear bumper is not enough. I hope they can put double clear coats on the bumpers. And, really sorry to hear that. Please let me know how much it cost it and how.
  9. Thanks. I will put original rims back. My chrome is also oem rims but I don't want to damage my chrome. J
  10. ------------ As happy as I am with the tires, the installation through my local Firestone dealer was a nightmare. The @#$% tech threw away all the sensors, costing Firestone $130 apiece to replace them, and another $100 Lexus charge to initialize the new sensors. ------------- In the original post, you mentioned the sensors. When are they located? and looks like? Is it inside of or part of the sterm valve? Thanks
  11. Hi, About 2 months ago, I purchase the chrome rims and installed on my RX330. But, some people told me that the chrome rims can/will be damaged easily in winter. Is it true? Should I put the alloy rims back before we get snow? Thanks
  12. What is the SUV? The SUV is a sedan or truck? The Utility Vehicles must have the spare tire. Last Friday, I'd dropped my RX330 for the radiator recall and had asked about the dash rattle. The service rep. in Wilkie Lexus in Philly took note to check and gave me a RX330 loaner. Guess what?, the loaner does not have any rattle from the dash board. Can they fix my car too????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Actually I almost gave up on the rattle, but when I got my car, the rattle'd fixed. There are bunch of part numbers on the paper for the rattles.. and told me they removed the dashboard and insert new clips and put that back... They fixed the rattlessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss Anyway, I am so happy that they'd fixed it. I am so happy now..
  13. No such thing! I guess. Me too! Door handel RX300 has a coin box but RX330 has a cup holder where it was.
