  1. the button to release the trunk is beside the gas cap release on the drivers door under the armrest The lockout is located in the glove box on the left side it is a yellow button.

  3. A good audio store can find the vga input and camera switch on the processor.
  4. the price for the maintance is alright for parts and labour, what maintance has been does previously and the milage done. A bad cap and rotor can cuase seom problems but it always a good thing to change rather inexpensivley. If you have no maintance schedule previously then the things to change no is spark plugs wires rotor and cap oil a throttle body cleaing other things to do later are the timingbelt coolant tranny fluid
  5. The sensor is made as part of the valve stem. A good tire shop can remove a tire without breaking the sensor. Most shops unfortunatly cannot remove them safely
  6. Only in the 70's on some domestics was it better to keep the old fluid rather than replace it. It is always a good idea to change it when it needs it and especially if it is really bad.
  7. what year? and i never have heard of any sunroof glass cracking
  8. just keep in mind your car is an exact twin of the same years camry's,unlike later ones where body panels start to change.

  11. lol i guess i was the first could be somethnig to do with canadian cars but even in the Lexus service manual it says if a bulb is not illuminated on the dash for the srs or another fault bulb it will illuminate the cel to warn you.
  12. front wheel lexus and rear wheel drive are not the same offsets I am pretty sure that was already explained to you above. The more spacer plates you add the mroe dangerous it is to drive. options 1 buy new rims 2 get H&R hubcentric spacers 3 add another plate and wait for it to fall off 4 nothing
  13. No msn, As it is colder i don;t haev any specific Lexus only meets but a bimonthly one with the Toyotanation group so their are more people and it keeps interest up over the summer. Their is one tommorow night in mississauga at krispey kreme at 8
  14. 5x100 is rarley used except by domestics 5x115 is mercedes style 5x120 is bmw their are many others also but 5x114.3 is a major japanese size ,all lexus,accord V6,acura tl....... as is 4x100 civic,integra,corolla,accord 4cyl and so on.
  15. their are spacer plates ,which are dangerous and i assume you already have. then their are H&R hubcentric spacers which are aluminum plates that blot onto your original bolts ,then it has additinal bolts to attach to the wheels . A totally different design and just as safe as many racers use them
  16. On the back of mobil one it doesn;t even state it is an equivlent for the dexron for a 94-99 tranny. People who have used mobil one have had major service rebuilds needed me being one of them also. I now use amsoil exclusivly

UMM ,neo i think you are misinformed the GS has a lower offset around -35-38mm if it was higher you would rub more on the outside of the fender not the shock the H&R spacer is the only solution to make them fit. they are about 100 and are never instock anywhere ,so good luck getting them it is not the 225 tire as i have 225's and not a single rub as i have the exact offfset for my rims/car/tires
  21. How is it doesn;t go to every other neibours house if it is on cable. Since the basis of cable is the one cable to multiple users. ????
  22. you probably have a sticking solenoid ,could be from metal debris. The o/d light does come on if it is being stopped from entering o/d. It might be the computer not allowing it to get into gear. Some people have had that problem with o2 sensors but it was never also a slipping gear. ARMY getting a full flush will not cause problems. in the 70's their used to be problems by using new fluid in an older domestic tranny which was filled with old fluid that new fluid ould not have the viscosity to hold a gear.
