  2. So the temp tops out right away when the tranny downshifts or it slowly starts to raise and will not lower until you park the car? What speed are you going and what gear? Are you driving in "D" or in the Manumatic feature?
  3. It helps to "SPELL" things out so others don't repeat what you already know.
  4. You don't apply anti seize to wheel studs. It was over torqued by an air wrench. Nothign else would cause them to need more torque than its breaking point otherwise. Take it to them and tell them to replace them, you need a toyota spec nut wether oem or aftermarket to fit the base of the rims bolt seat.

  6. If joe blow uses regular in his tarus their is no problem. If you want a maximum performance and reliability of a high compression engine you better use premium. I am goign to close this thread as it has been asked to many times with way too much info already listed and nothing in the debate has changed.

  9. Run out can mean anything unless it is applied to a specific part or symptom. It basically means that a part that is stationary is within specs but once it moves in its axis it goes beoyond tolerances and "runs out of line".

  12. Very nice for a first post. Try and be more detailed in your explanation of things as you will get lots more questions,Like what to clean it with. Why did you remove the cover, how long and the usual. It is such a common question on this forum because no one bothers to look.
  13. I have changed your questions and title to be more politically correct and to give a fair basis of people and backgrounds.
  14. If you car overheats and your fan works then something is wrong with your rad or coolant flow to it.
  15. Rebuilt assemblies go from anywhere of 100rebuilt all the way to around 800oem.
  16. If the boot is recently ripped or cracked and no bearing play can be found then you only need to replace the boot not the whole axle. Get the OEM boot kit from toyota ,it is only about $70
  17. Their is a good amount of yellowing on and inside the light as well as the actual plastic becoming yellowed from UV which can;t be fixed.
  18. Like i said if it is only over 30mph then don't worry if it becomes more annoying or always doing it or squeeling ,then take it in.
  19. It is in regards to the actuator for the locks. you turn towards the lock inside the door by the inner handle to lock and pull the rod away to unlock. very normal
  20. Give it a day or 2 ,if not disconnect the battery terminal ,wait 5 minutes and tighten it back ,everything should reset.
  21. The paint protection is worth every cent but ca always be found cheaper from the same places if done direct. $400 is the most for an amazing complete job. Paint protection is nothgin more than a wax. int protection is a waste as well.
  22. Try the hvac test to see what error # it gives you. i think i made it in the general maintainace section.
  23. If it is oem about 5-7 years after market 3-4 Way too many variables for it to degrade though. Heat cold average temps turns and so on.
