You got a deal for that price. Get it checked for sludge ,there has to be a reason it was sold that cheap. Since you got an amazing deal spend the money save to get it back to new for less. Pay to get an estimate for checking everything it needs so you have an idea of what to fix and how much. Get a few estimates but what is wrong with the paint.I wouldn't let macco touch a tricycle never mind a car. Abs sensor code,need it read to knwo what is wrong with it. Are you sure not "BRAKE" light is not working ,was someoen pressing the brake to make sure ,it does not register reverse,signals or running lights for that sensor warning. It should be work about 7000 ,so 2000 is nothing spend another 3000 and it is still a deal

My wife comes home today and looks at the car and then gives me this frown and says "where the hell did you go and buy these rims from" you see i just bought a set of 20's that are in my garage as i wait for rubber. Me feeling like being a little of an !Removed! since she would feel alittle dumb when i tell her decided to probe the wound . "why, what is wrong with them". Basically she wanted to know what i did with the old yellow rims ,then i told her i just cleaned them after waxing the car. She was amazed and said i didn't need to put the other rims on,like that will happen .They look nice but not perfect.

I once wondered the same thing when i got my car 4 weeks ago. It basically makes the display cycle through any malfunctions . It is a really stupid button , i would much rather have a volume or mute. It does not work if nothing is wrong , so if you open a door and press the button it will toggle back and forth . I noticed one more thing ,in my 98 the mode button cycles through but in a 99 it also cycles but it has a position to turn it off completely .I like that :(

Some one asked this about a weeek ago to acess the ballast on the HID system.

Look at the throttle body there are 2 cables one goes to the gas pedal the other one goes down to the transmission. Make sure it is moving freely and not rusted or disconnected.

Are you getting one cheap or you need one? Just wondering as i may not need my 98 bumper soon.

Different tuning for different markets. Some cars have to follow strict emmisson rules other have larger tarrifs on different displacments and fuel economy.

FYI 1/4 panels are only used on the rear 1/4 of the car The front body panels are called fenders. The only reflector i can think of is below the headlight on the corner of the bumper not the fender ? And yes, the ones down there do light up while also being an orange reflector using a 194 bulb.

Go and buy meguires NXt metal polish. I just redid my 98 wheels which had been neglected for ages with acid etching on the clear coat. After a few tries it came clean and then i hit it with my high speed to finish the process. they look almost like new . VERY clean

Did either of you check the transmission kick down cable on the throttle body to make sure it is in tolerances?

Man , why can't they spend all the money on repainting the cop cars for work against street racing and send tehm to compton for high instaces of street racing. I think street racing is stupid but harassing people just because you can is what the goverment is supposed to protect you from. Cop wonder why so many people don't care one way or another about them anymore when they get shot ,it is becuase of this type of attitude that sours normal members of society who no longer have faith in the sytem.

The coolant flow is to heat the intake chamber air upon cold start not for the EGR.

I love the rims but it is because the style of car and design style of the rims are VIP and clean. It is definatly not everyones style ,Givoanna makes good rims but the shipping is going to kill you especially if it is sent UPS. The colour of your car is what will determine how good or bad it looks. Also don't think you can use 10 inch wide out back without mods

Which reflectors? Try and be more specific on location.

Did non of the parts store have a OBD1 plug in adapter? If not do a search on here and find the terminals to short to get the CEL to flash , have a list of the codes so you can do it for free.

It is not a scam it works.But not with Toyota intelligent ECU's which remap according to a sensors new data stream. It is basically a 3 cent resister in a big box . It has been done for years on my cars and works well. But over all it is nothing anyone can do it themselves for almost free.

Don't worry some questions are not that easy. I have no clue where my charcoal canister is ,but i have only had my LS for a couple of weeks and still have not done an oil change to take a good look in the nooks and crannies yet.

WHo told you to use antiseize on a wheel stud? If you want you can add it to the hub assembly but NEVER the studs and bolts, can you guess why?
