I'm looking to make something from fiberglass but have only worked with it once so i have a few questions 1. I need to make something a lttle thick as its for a speaker(sub) but I'm wondering how many layers of fiber glass should i use at the most ? 2.i need to make a mold ,but the mold i need to make is inside the car and the area has carpeting around it ,what do i use or do to make the mold on the carpet since the unit will be sitting on the carpet anyway? 3.what do i use as a release agent from the mold for the fiberglass? any links or info would be very help full when I'm done with my project ill try and make a wright up to help others as well. thanks guys ! :chairshot:

Hey guys im going to install a kenwood DVD/Navi/CD head unit in my 1998 gs400 and i need some help . first im wondering if the rear window antenna is amplified or not?some tell me yes some tell me no . also the : -parking sensor wire ,what color is the wire i need and where is the harness located? -vehicle reverse lamp wire,what color is the wire i need and where is the harness located? thanks! :chairshot:

first off im sorry if its in the wrong place please move it if it is ok here is the deal Im looking to redo my sound system in my gs400 that came with a nach system but im not 100% sure about a few things if you have links to my question please pm them to me or post them here im basicly keeping the stock headunit but im going to upgrade the front and rear speakers as well as the sub im not sure what fronts or rears (suggestions welcomed) i already have the sub INFINITY KAPPA PERFECT 10.1D DVC (going to test this out ) as for amps i have some amps to use from Alpine v12s ,soundstream van gohe and kicker im going to try from 4ch with a 2 channel amp running mono ,a mono amp and a 5 channel amp well this is what i need 1. i need the wiring diagram for the speaker connection that goes in to the factory amp thats located in the right side corner under the carpet near the spare tire. 2.when upgrading the system do i need to do anything to the equalizer that sits behind the cd changer ?(leave it alone ,chuck it or bypass it) 3.if you have any pics please send them to me so i can see what you did 4. if you have any helpfull advise please let me know ill be upgrading my alternator ,using a capacitor and running 2 guage wire to the back to a fuse block then going (4 guage or 8 guage power and ground wires depending on what amps i use ) well again any help would be helpfull.

Im looking into upgrading my stock alternator as ill be doing a system upgrade soon where is a good place to puchase one from ? i found this one place........ http://www.luxurymods.com/ProductDetail.ph...ID=927&fid=1011 but i never heard of them :/ so im not sure if i should bother with them. but does anyone know of any other places i can look for an upgraded Alternator? :egads: THXS AFS

is there a way to make the guages at night as bright or almost as bright as when its day time ? i never noticed till just a few weeks ago that my guages cluster lighting dims lighter the darker it gets out,it doest look bad but i would like it brighter ..i have the adjustment knob all the way to bright so im kinda stumped on what to do . many thanks.

HI i need to buy a new HID bulb for my 98 gs 400 that came with stock hid lights from the factroy . where can i buy a new bulb at and around how much is it ? many thanks.

take out the panel that holds the lighter (very easy)and check that it is connected if it is check the line with a multimeter if you see power to it then the problem is the little diod on the cigaret lighter itself anotehr easy fix just time consumming .

well my eq is just fine i belive the problem is the amp runnin to hot and clipping ill try and make a mod with fans to see what happens .
