  1. I would want the CLS as it looks great and is a real head turner. +side is the cls looks great and is performance oriented - MB classic reliability which is poor along with there service department is only a 4 seater with very low headroom for rear seat entry. If you carry anyone over the age of 70 it may be a problem. GS430 is fast and looks great also but not as nice as the CLS right now. Since you are going from a Jag the MB will seem pretty reliable , unless you have the Lexus you won;t know the reliability experience. For the price the GS430 is better but if i had time and cash to waste on service i would get the CLS.
  2. That is just plain stupid to say that any upgrade will provide no yields. On any car over 5 years it is a good idea to look at the grounds. You will never gain any power from the kits but will reclaim lost horsepower from degraded wires. Now do a search for the rest of the info already posted in detail.
  3. Any rim can be repaired , a crack is nothing new to fix.
  4. They will for sure need the ownership and license to cut a key 100%
  5. I would go back to the dealer and ask them to see what it looks like. Then follow up if it is infact not damaged with head office.
  6. Get the damaged rims repaired for much less and headache.
  7. Call the dealer as they can cut the key by VIN. some places can reflash the ecu and you can buy a key ready to go for $100.
  8. in 5 hours you will not receive much responses. The search function works pretty good also.
  9. Where did you hear the avalon wheels are different ,Army ? The wheels will fit fine same bolt pattern 5x1.14 center bore of 60.1 offset in low 40's
  10. Agreed get it done at the dealer by replacing the whole lower seat cover.
  11. The wheel is not a direct replacement . You would need an airbag which would not wire to the newer gen 2 SRS systems. You can get an oem wood wheel and transplant the wood onto the existing leather wheel.$200 plus lots of labour to colour match the wood grain and sand. You can send it to American stitches. $400-500 Buy an aftermarket Nardi or MOMO wood wheel if it has no airbag. $500 Get a clip on cover that seem to match pretty good $50 The oem wheels are in the 1700 - 2500 range. The tilt and retract would still work fine as it has nothing to do with those systems.
  12. The different hue's of blue are from a sharp angle/cutoff on the edges of the projectors causing a purple colour but it is the same bulbs as everyone else.
  13. You need to be able to repair the contacts on the stalk or replace it eitehr way the steering wheel and airbag needs to be removed.
  14. What and where was the problem?
  15. Is that in both normal and PWR mode?
  16. I don;t think any Lexus ever came with hubcaps in North America
  17. A power door lock kit is plug and play all wiring is harnessed ,you just add power and ground no other wiring to it. It uses steel rods held onto the stock lock rods ,so the solenoids move the rods in the same direction. 1.5 hours max to do all 4 doors
  18. Your mechanically inclinded ,so pick up a 4 door power door lock kit for $50 and install it yourself for free. The hardest part is fishing the wire through the loom for the doors. But with no power options it should have lots of space.
  19. different wheel pattern , won;t fit
  20. By adding new fluid you may have loosened the blockage with its fresh cleaners. The build up has returned and needs to be completely flushed ,i would add the inline filter for a piece of mind as well.
  21. there are 2 beside the battery. The other one is under the mirror switch just pull off the small panel.
  22. For the bumper to peel like that it had to have not been repainted properly. Factory finishes are baked and if they even try to peel it is going to come off with the urethane under it as well.
  23. Bend the metal clips out to hold it tighter
  24. moved to detail section
  25. Did you lube the mount this time before installing it?
