  1. no , i meant the phone. No i am going to ask if the radio works when the phone is removed. Try startign the car and turning it off between changes.
  2. What details do you want to know? The pics and product details can be found on clifford.com website. Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 2-Way Security and Remote Start System with Responder Technology
  3. I agree with the noise , which is why i love mine setup as of right now. It is no louder than stock unless i stand on the throttle. Which is why when i do modify the rest i am replacing restrictive mufflers and resonators with more mufflers just with a straight flow design to not be power robbing but still quiet as i can;t stand noisy cars like my other 2.
  4. caster is not changed by lowering a car it is a wheels relevance inline of the other wheels. If the caster is off ,either the bushing is shot or the arm bent from impact.
  5. search results for p0402 Type the other code into the search for more answers. get the code read at any parts store for free.
  6. clifford 3.5 the memory seat buttons on the door to adjust
  7. I have one on mine and it works fine. I just need to press the memory button when i get in .
  8. It is also the little black sticker on the windsheild in front of the driver. 1-800-25 lexus for US 1-800-26 lexus in Canada
  9. Main question is how low? Low according to the fill point or below that on the dipstick?
  10. Contact US customs for the exact procedure as there is alot of paperwork that needs to be done BEFORE not after it is brought or they will refuse it being imported and send it abck and make you pay to ship it again. The US customs are strange in the way the import or export cars. You cannot even buy a US car and bring it to canada otherwise they will seize it from you and not allow it to cross the border until you jump through 6 million hoops for no reason. Personally i would sell it and buy the bigger motor IS 300 when you get here for less than the headache
  11. I did not mean to call a dealer as they would not be of any real help ( no offense) but to call lexus head office. It is a problem with Lexus USA not having a network setup to order the parts in a normal fashion and for it to even show up on TPC program (toyota parts counter) .I have no idea why Lexus is so slow to adapt and introduce anythign that is an acessory or modification through the dealer network .It is not like anyone is asking for them to develop a high performance car * ok well we are but they don't listen* it is simply having a container being shipped over with about $200 000 worth of parts to keep in stock this side of the pacific for North American owners. The parts are alreayd made packaged and tested .
  12. Here is where to start it will answer every question according to everyones opinion. search results
  13. When ever the parking lights and/or headlights are turned on. The car may have had the front end in an accident and the body shop forgot to install the bulbs or put them back in the sockets or harness.
  14. please do a search as this is among the what octane to use what oil to use what tires threads which are too many to count. thanks
  15. I think the best bet is to call Lexus directly and inquire why they do not sell such simple items over the parts counter. Hell i think anyone with even the smallest amount of interest should call them . It is not like a spoiler but a sunglass holder and other simple items should be stocked in North America for owners who might want it. That beign said , does the GS not have an over head sunglass holder where the map lights are ? Also they probably do not have an overhead one as they have a automated toll collection service with a card swipe built into the car so they have no room up there.
  16. There is no quality assurance and testing from sonar which is why they produce so many at such a cheap rate. Sonar sells them for like $1.50 raw when you buy 1000 peices which is then boxed and resold for $25-35 or more. So any clear lens from any company is going to come from them unless the are a special order rom anothe company which is rare but does happen with Junction produce and other VIP JDM brands but $1000 is easy to spend on there products which meet factory finishes. The only reason the lens fell off is it had less acrylic than most. I have never found one of there lenses to actually be sealed with acrylic all the way around the edges ,it always has gaps and clumps.
  17. You can get stuff as i do on the occasion that i really want which are really "JDM" japanese domestic market ,meaning things they don't ever let out of japan. Put it this way the sunglasses holder is probably about 100 yen to get it bought by someone and shipped plus taxes $200-250 is possible.
  18. Oh btw most cars in Asia and espeically larger luxry ones have that little rod that extends when needed on the front right and rear to aid the driver in parking so they know the edges of the car so they can use the maximum amount of space to manover a car on Japanese tight streets. This is just a normal light but it plugs into the cig lighter already there.
  19. It will never get here , they have had cooler stuff that is never added to the American market since toyota has been around. It is the simple stuff that some idiot marketers at the head office never think anyone over here wants. Same people who think no want a lexus modified sports car . Since the 90's the LS has had back seat controls for the radio and hvac. The newewst celsior even has 2 body kit options and even doillies for the headrest as a Japanese OEM toyota option.
  20. They are all made exactly the same. They are made by a company in taiwan called sonar who makes normal and clear aftermarket headlight taillight and signal housings. They all have to sealed before install from being produced cheaply especially when compared to the OEM stanley lenses. Just take some clear silicone and seal the bead around the lens and housing and it will keep from moisture build up as well as falling off. The bulb part is just like anythign else they will eventually fail.
  21. This is a great pic of the stock exhaust by itself of how it has really restrictive bends and merge pipes.
