  1. sunoco 94 higher octance will make your numbers worse for HC not better. The only way to know what to fix is by what your readings of hc, nox and co are ,changing parts for the sake of it resolves nothing.
  2. i removed the other posts which are exactly the same , what is it your suposed to be linking to ?
  3. deadmilenko care to resize that signiture to a much more accomidating size. It is for snipits not albums, thanks
  4. All urethane bushings will be stiffer but will also translate into much more crisp steering and control. Will it deteriorate the the over all ride ,it all depends on what condition your bushings are in before replacement. If they are worn then it will be an improvement in softness and revived handling . If they are in good condition it will feel sharper and most of the absorption of bumps will be left to the suspension itself . The only time they squeak is when they have not been properly lubed before install which keeps them from squeaking. With the amount of sound absorption materials i would suspect you can;t hear it unless the windows are open but you can always hear a clunk from worn bushings. So the pros are reduced part cost as they don't fall apart every few years don't need a new component like a control arm which does not break. reduced labour costs as you won't pay for a new one to be installed improved steering and handling cons slightly stiffer may squeak if installed improperly Its up to you how you weight each part for your personal style. Now what i wrote above is about urethane bushings in general not specifically for daizen bushings which i have no experience with. I do find there bushings to cost more than they should compared to normal cars .Compare a full master kit for an accord let's say and it is every bushing around 30 on the car for $100 while you only get 4 with daizen

  6. how does the normal cycle turn the lights off when in auto? You turn off the car and the lights shut off after you open a door correct? They need to emulate the door being opened. I have a clifford with remote start ( a high end alarm company that DEI bought a few years ago) . I don't use the headlights in auto as i always drive with them on .
  7. Get them to take it out and refund your money and choose you installers more carefully. They do not do high end cars enough to have the knowlegde needed to perform high end quality installs. Too bad it happens all the time with shops saying they know what they are doing but only knowing enough for basic installs. All that is needed is the wiring schematic lexus manual to make the functioncs work properly.
  8. Ask your installer to fix it. They should know they need to make a realy with diodes to replicate the car turning off to shut them down.
  9. get a used front clip for $1000 hopefully already the right colour. Try tap recycling.
  10. Its called a test drive........ Let someone buy it for less than sticker for an " EXECUTIVE DEMO" , I love how people still fall for that marketing trick.
  11. Just thought it would be funny to add
  12. btw there is no right and left side , the installer just has to mount it properly for direction.
  13. $100 for the tire shipping is whatever it costs with who ever you want to ship it with. If you have a friend in windsor get it shipped to their house and pick it up to save some tax on the US end but it would only be about $10 but there are other options to save. i just sent you an email , email me back when you get it .
  14. They fit fine bolt patterns are both 5x114.3 with a center bore of 60.1 if it is a exact match for the bore ,otherwise get some hubcentric rings .
  15. I will sell you a set a pair or just one if you want. let me know. It has 8-9/32nds tread and came with 10/32nds tread brand new. Shipping should not be to much as you are about 3-4 hours from Toronto.
  16. Get the OEM kit for $220 or see if it is less without bulbs get parts on ebay for conversion. You can buy a wiring relay for $20 9006 bulb bases for a d2r or d2s and glue them ( never perfectly aligned $20 Or buy brand new rebased 9006 bulbs for $100 for a pair ready to go.( best option )

  19. If you have black smoke coming out and increased gas usage then i would point at a ignitor or rotor and cap spark plug wire fuel injector. I think the fuel filter is out as it is getting gas just too much which a filter cannot do. You have a combustion issue point to incomplete burn.
  20. No worries , i didn't think you were being "snubbing "
  21. Just a blow for MB everyone else will continue and they will return to the by-wire system. I personally hate it but under foul weather it is a nice co-pilot.
  22. You have a 430 with power assist ,not available on North American 98-2000 LS400's It is old tech from the MB who first used it that finally made its way to the Lexus brand as usual.
