  1. Both are there , i went for the press unveiling last Wednesday. I got to sit in the LS460 prototype and play with it for a good half hour.
  2. You failed to mention if it is all 4 or the front or rear rotors warping at once?
  3. Who is doing the repairs ? I agree with checking the sliders and cleaning them also. Is it front or rears warping?
  4. From your post you are more concerned about swaying a potential GS owner away to another vehicle make than buying the GS. It is a problem with your specific car not a problem with the GS model otherwise they would know exactly what is wrong. If you have been without the car for 2 weeks then ask them at what point they will replace the car with a new one. Also you said it started 2 weeks ago but then also said the car was in the shop for the past 2 weeks? Which one is it?.............. How long have you had the car and its milage?
  5. Someone need to read the rules before posting
  6. for a hot cut off issue it can be related to a few things. Does pressing on the gas lightly while starting it make any difference?
  7. Yes you can use a timing light to adjust the timing and make sure it is not off.
  8. Bulbs are $100-150 for bi-xenon's harness is 20-30. How much do you want for the bulbs and ballasts if you do sell them?
  9. what email adress are you mailing to ?
  10. Most dealers who do not have you on file as buying a part before or a vehicle will not special order a part as they have no valid info that you will come and pick up the parts for sure. Otherwise they would have a stock room full of non returnable special order parts.
  11. They can be within limits but be throw way off spec once under eletric load. I would more worry when it reaches the 10 year mark if you have no blatent problems.
  12. Actually a good cold air system can be made with only 2 90 degree angles . A short arm intake is worthless , but hey ,you wil see. but don't you have a turbo'd engine?
  13. Sure but you would need a new set of H4 bulbs that have dual filaments
  14. I have removed about 4 short ram intakes for 1mz and 3vz's which all suffered from bad judgment on their owners part . They all got into the hype of the people selling them and once it was installed the noise just made them feel sporty which also came from reduced vacuum which increased the throttle response. Problem is when the heat from under the engine which is only removed when the car is moving at a high rate of speed causing carbon issues in the intake track especially with the throttle body iacv and egr. Once that began their fuel mileage also went to hell as well. After reinstalling the OEm box minus the baffle they all began to run much stronger with greater hp and gas mileage . I have never seen a short arm work on any car. Just simple physics, sorry.
  15. No pics ,sorry. Atleast not until i put my rims on as you can;t see tehm through the stock (winter)rims much. I was thinking it would be easy to make a simple bypass or repair to the sensor but i would rather drop the $50 than half !Removed! it , hell i bought the Lexus flagship i should atleast keep it that way.
  16. Contact the sellers on ebay and ask for your specific year and tehy should have them. I ordered a set for my ES and my LS before and tehy are still working fine.
  17. It is more than likely a smal plastic clip that breaks over time ,not hard to pop off the door panel.
  18. As far as i knwo the system works like this. Lights on in auto, key on = lights are on a 30 second timer after the door is opened after turning the car off. Parking lights do not auto turn off only headlights which in turn ,turn them off as well.
  19. pad wear sensors do just that , they wear out when the pads get worn and set off the indicator on the dash. I am not sure how a hall effect could even be used to measure a thickness of a pad.
  20. I would have said the CV's but i am pretty sure a dealer would have looked at that first since it is the first thing to look for with a turning noise.
