  1. I personally don't think that it really matters. What matter is the person who is driving the vehicle. I used to owned a MR2 Turbo with bald 17" tires and it drives fine in snow except when the weather adds snow to rain then the results can be bad. Who needs to drive 70mph in bad winter condition or heavy rain? All season tires are great because you don't have to change them every time unless you have two set of wheels to change from season to season.
  2. Thanks Sean for the help. I sure will take a good look under the hood for signs of trouble. Eventhough this car is for my wife, "in the summer time" it'll be my car in the fall to spring. I have to tell you guys that at 118K miles, that car runs a lot better than my 00 Audi A4 with 53K miles.
  3. Hey guys and gals, I just purchase a 99 GS 300 with 118,800 miles on the motor. Isn't the GS300 driven by a chain instead of a timing belt??? Another question is, when I press "lock" on the remote, it lock all the doors but the driver door is not lock. What's wrong with that? Is there something I have to do? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
  4. Hey guys, I'm thinking about trading my 2000 A4 1.8T for a 2001 IS 300 but am just curious if the IS 300 have timing belt or timing chain. If anyone can get back to me on this topic, that'll be very thankful. Thanks!
