  1. Might be a bit late, but if you want to clean your headlights... http://web.ace.net.au/soarer/headlight_cleaning.html
  2. I dont think you can sell anything from that site on here. Just scroll about halfway down till you see the huge red letters
  3. Go to a muffler shop and have them make you a good exhaust. You may not even be able to get much out of it depending on how good it was engineered from the factory
  4. 1.8!?!? Thats almost 30lbs...is that what you normally run for high boost? Mine used to spike up to 1.1 before the fuel cut would come in, but once i got my setting right its always in the safe(.9) If anyone would ever offer headers at a reasonable price then i could get some turbos that wont fly apart above 15lbs. Damn toyota glue turbos.....
  5. If you have other people there to help then it shouldnt take that long. maybe a full day or so. depends on how confident and helpful they are.
  6. Well, i was going to, but i got so ANGRY off about an hour into it i said screw it. Theres a few tricks to getting the clutch master cylinder and the pedal to come together, but that was about the only thing that had to be screwed with. I had to drill the holes for the bolts that were on the Clutch M.C. and i had to make a hole for the shifter, but other than that, everything was bolt on. I can get some after pictures if you like...just go into photoshop and flip 180degrees vertical and it will look normal for you guys -Edit:I cant believe they bleeped me
  7. Its not that hard to do. Im doing mine right now, although im getting screwed on the quality of parts. If you dont have access to a lift or some way to get the car in the air then i wouldnt recommend it as it will get very hard very fast with the car on the ground. Otherwise everything is pretty much bolt in. Few cuts here and there, but nothing drastic
  8. Thats a good goal. The quickest way to get there is to do it right the first time!! Dont shirk on parts and dont take chances. I did and my Soarer has been down for a week trying to swap out the trans
  9. If you install the language pack, itll display the Kanji...as if that would help most people read it. I dont know if they're original style or what. I know that theyre new and they should be around $170
  10. Worse comes to worse i know a guy who's handy with a plasma torch and a welder. i can either get a new tank or make the bar myself
  11. I dont remember who makes the rear, but i saw it once. Its almost like a V shape, but not that extreme. Im looking for front, rear, sub braces, ladder bar...the works
  12. I wish i could take my soarer to mainland where there actually is an aftermarket for em. Okinawa is all Nissan. 180, R32, and those nasty !Removed! Laurels. The bosozoku all use the bikes...no cars really. But anyways...let me know if you can get some braces locally cause i know i cant get any down here. I know i could mail-order, but thats a pain
  13. Just save for the turbo kit. Itll be better in the long run. Ive often felt the need for easy speed, but its better to do things right the first time
  14. In my painting expierence, less is more. All that stuff sounds cool when youre thinking it up, but once you look at the finished product.....
  15. Maybe because youll melt to the seat in this heat. Humidity isnt very nice either. Ill have to take a picture of the cows here....theyre the size of a calf in the US. That or a large dog
  16. By all means, check with other people. Mainland is the best place to source parts anyways. Everything is more expensive on Okinawa since they import everything except air and water. Id just be able to be a middle-man and source out some parts. They have people that survive on raping the junk yards and selling the stuff on Ebay
  17. Yeah, ill ask around a few shops and see what they say. Not sure how much of a deal i can get, but ill see what i can do.
  18. Wait a minute, you guys all have leather? Damn...im missing out. I have velour and vinyl
  19. you can get the factory toyota front for $700 i think from toyota. i cant find the part number right now, but dealer should be able to get it for you. probably same for the skirts. as for the lights....i see em on Yahoo Japan all the time for around $100 a side, but dealer cost is outrageous
  20. that paint is worth more than the car. no joke...that stuff is around 250 a bottle
  21. Depending on how much you guys want to pay, i can find the CF hoods here in Japan. Ive seen em start around 700 US and then shipping would be extra of course.
  22. Did you get any braces for the chassis? Ive thought about getting the strut tower bars and the lower brace, but i want to know how it changes the car first.
  23. I looked around forever and couldnt find one end all info page about the differences. try this place: http://www.automotive-links.com/mak/toy/toy.htm Thats about the most toyota links youll ever see
