  1. Ive seen a blue soarer runnin around here on Okinawa. i seriously doubt its an aftermarket paint job either.
  2. Yahoo Japan has tons of LSDs and diffs. Just look on auctions and search for jzz and youll find one
  3. dont i feel like a !Removed!... my 91 Soarer has only ~80k km... course the island is only 40 miles long so i cant see how anyone could get that much mileage here
  4. So would the cost to horsepower ratio justify getting a manifold for the 1jz gte soarer? Im not sure that im going to be staying in Okinawa much longer and i plan on keeping the engine and most of the parts. I guess the end HP depends on what kind of car i put the engine into when i get back. Probably 5-600 in the end. But what kind of HP can be seen from the aftermarket manifold??
  5. So the SC300 brake rotors dont work... thats 235.00 down the drain. Thats of course when the damn things get here. I ordered mine from National Fleet Parts. I wouldnt recommend for overseas unless you have alot of time on your hands since they have to special order them or make them or whatever.... Where in Japan are you Tenkisan? If youre on Okinawa then i can show you a few shops that are pretty good but bring the COLA cause it costs a bit more.
  6. Has anyone ever thought about making the BFI, except using some steel or aluminum tubing from JC whitneyand replacing the stock tubing? Or just connect a cone filter right next to the intake divider(the metal piece that seperates the intake to the two turbos) and just cutting a hole in the hood... then just attach a scoop and make your heat shield and you have real ram air. Also why not move the stock IC in front of the radiator like a FMIC? Any ideas/brainstorming welcome
  7. You can get a CF hood here in Japan, but i have no idea how much that would cost to get it shipped to the US. I think the costs were around 800 US to purchase. Plus i dont know where the shop is or how to order since i cant read Kanji or Katagana. Ill try and find the site again and post it if i do
  8. hopefully D.o.D. will ship it for me since its a direct copy of a Lexus SC400... Im not sure about it since i may be gettin a medical retirement or just seperation. either way, i'll keep everyone posted
  9. I currently own a 91 Soarer TT and id like to bring it back to the states when i go back. Before you ask, im in the army and ive seen some of the laws and i know its supposed to be a bit easier for us. Anyways... im just tryin to find out if anyone has gotten an actual cost for this kind of import. Thanks!
