    About 15K on these tires on 17" wheels of Mercedes C300, very good results so far. Excellent value, I would recommend them.

    Yes, the Mercedes dealership was pushing something that supposedly was same as stuff "applied to protect jet aircraft finish"....

    Chevy Tahoe

    Family member has 07 Suburban (essentially same as Tahoe) which gets used for local family chores. Since the driving they do is mostly urban/suburban, mileage is 12-13mpg consistently. No significant problems at 80K mileage. I've drove it one weekend and found it to be roomy/useful and a bit dull.

    Agreed, don't use dealer for detail work, I use a specialist.

    Now it's a thread on honesty, not that I give a flying f. I find the IS350 to be plenty economical, not needing the dulled driving experience of Prius/Insight hybrid.

    Hard to see much in pictures here, but looks ok.

    Did a 100 mile loop yesterday to the coast and back via 2 lane mountain and country roads mostly. Average was 25.5 mpg.

    To attempt to change the fluid risks doing harm on these vehicles, therefore no action required.

    I know when I need a haircut. I read recommendations in owners manual and reach my own conclusion.

    Tires are most likely the biggest contributor to observed difference in quietness. I just had my 2007 IS350 value springs done, car was in shop for 2 days. I had a new loaner 2011 ES350 w/17" wheel/tire setup, very quiet.

    My last combo was Porsche 986S/Mercedes ML350. My current Lexus IS350/Mercedes C300 combo has been much more reliable.
