  1. Is your car stock or lowered (and if lowered, on what spring or coilover setup)?
  2. Having driven the 2010 RX350, no gear lever (or hand) interference with knobs noticed.
  3. speaking of which, what is this new GS's price range going to be? I expect price range to be in line or slightly below competing premium sedans such as E-class and 5 series (just as prices are with current gen GS).
  4. I hold stock in oil companies; we stockholders thank you for reaching an erroneous conclusion. I own stock in oil companies too, my conclusions about my vehicle are better than oil company's. Also I have no major spills to my credit.
  5. Fun article, if not especially scientific.
  6. Now that you've had it for 5 days, is the noise still too much?
  7. Lexus-recommended fuel is my preference, I consistently use Chevron premium in my IS350.
  8. lazorsharp - Thanks for pic. Excellent color combo.
  9. lazersharp - Sounds like a nice setup. Post a pic if you get the chance.
  10. Looks like pretty realistic data.
  11. Again, thanks for the thorough long-term tire test/report, good info. btw - Regarding side to side rotation, any thoughts on that practice?
  12. Welcome and enjoy the new GX460. I'm from CA but enjoyed a business trip to Georgia 2 weeks ago, nice place.
  13. No, not around here in greater Bay Area. We are free to negotiate and cross-shop.
  14. I'm happy viewing earth from a mere 35,000 feet or so via commercial airliner.
  15. It can be annoying, especially when the music is crap. Most of the time my Lexus (tinted) windows are up for isolation.
  16. Wow, didn't know the PermaPlate gimmick still existed, they have been around for a long time.
  17. Agreed, a good body shop will be able to handle correctly. My experience with my local Lexus partnered bodyshop has been very good, with perfect color matching.
  18. Yes it could take that long to show. Most likely no major accident happened, but it probably had some "bumper rash" that needed to be addressed to make the car look better for sale. And the less than durable respray was probably done on dealer site as part of detailing job to prep car for sale. I've seen these guys work at used car dealers facilities out of a van. Probably best to have it resprayed. Cars driven significant mileage annual on highways/freeways will incur this peppering effect over time.
  19. Was the car purchased used? If so, could be related to a poor respray earlier.
  20. Never on my 07 IS350 with 38K miles. I run nothing but Chevron premium gasoline.
