  1. Fuel efficiency is increasingly important maybe...
  2. Like wow, a bit troll-like, especially the part "the y pipes need to change beacause is touching the axes of the cars cost 3200$ wow"
  3. SW - Congrats on the new JGC, one of my favorite SUVs today. I've driven 2 of them and the new V6 is a super sweet engine.

    New Here

Hello and welcome. Tell us more about your Lexus (and pics maybe).
  5. Uhhh...., ok, but need a little background info to know about expertise (if any). Thanks.
  6. Having driven both (modern late model turbos and supercharged cars) I have no real preference. Although I agree I am not very comfortable owning either without a factory warranty. I have no problem running Mobil 1 synthetic oil and Chevron premium gas (5% higher price in CA for premium gas typically), I'm used to this after owning various Mercedes/Porsche/Lexus cars.
  7. Fantastic birthday present.
  8. Haven't given it much thought to be honest.
  9. I don't think it will look especially good, the narrow stock wheels will look a bit sunken-in in the darker colors.
  10. Welcome and congrats on the new RX. Let's see a pic or 2 maybe. :)
  11. Normal sound (ticking) for direct injection engines. Assuming it's from a Lexus dealership, they should have explained it as that. btw, welcome to LOC, enjoy the new Lexus!
  12. lol, some troll-like first post.
  13. Nicely done. I'd like to see a similar treatment to current Prius.
  14. Thanks cduluk for the info, this is good news and I expect more technology in the future to help us in this area. Lately by not exceeding 80 mph on the freeways in CA, I've had no problems.
  15. No, but considering always 3 vehicles in 2 person household that's probably expected.
  16. Interesting, but I never wanted the rear sunshade mechanism since I prefer to have all side windows and rear window tinted at around 35%.

    Hello

    Welcome and nicely done ES.
  18. Good info here, never seen this problem on a Lexus so far.
  19. Problem - my car(s) is (are) not immune to laser.
  20. Main cause of rubbing will be wheel width, wheel offset, and tire sizing. Best to consult with experts and/or experienced owners on this. $1000 budget for upsized wheels/tires will not be sufficient for reasonable quality setup. 19" tires are increasingly common today, so availability and selection is good.
  21. Nice example of early LS. Those cars never go out of style.
  22. Agreed, I place Magnussen's Lexus of Fremont at the top of list. Sales and service experiences have been excellent for me. Employee turnover is minimal compared to most car dealerships.
  23. PTR07-30090 GS350 (RWD only) ^ The F-Sport springs that I saw in catalog were RWD only. Do they make some now for the GS AWD?
  24. Wow, 5mph over speeding ticket, sounds like revenue generation was main goal. That LFA speed was a bit extreme...
  25. At least we have no comments about turning up volume on hearing aide. :)
